It was right at the city and the staff was super nice.. That breakfast was way too much, my husband and I just wanted coffee and a bread... I think coffee and a bread should be included, is not many places to go and has breakfast... I was disappointed about that.

The hotel room & hotel had a strange odour as soon as you entered the facility. The location is very, very poor and cannot be reached by vehicle. Parking is blocks away and luggage had to be carried to hotel locale. The hotel toilets are similar to camping toilets and so noisy that you were able to hear when one was flushed anywhere, a floor up, down, beside, etc. Without assistance of the police, we would never have found this hotel. The street in front of it, at one time accessible is now a promenade.

At the time of our visit there were major street reconstruction works taking place right outside the hotel in the 'pedestrains only' street. NO parking any where near the hotel. NOT a good start!

Old world charm, historical associations, attractive antique furniture, welcoming open fire in lobby, excellent dinner in main restaurant, helpful staff. Recently installed pedestrian street outside main entrance makes car access and parking a little complicated

It has awsome goth-like interior in the lobby and restaurant. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Great food in ajoining restaurant. Slight smell in the lobby. It's an old building. Furnishings in the room were a little old. Overall it was tidy and clean.

Location It's an old hotel which is run down. Our room was small stuffy with no air conditioning. Breakfast at e18 each was over the top. Definitely wouldn't go back

Excellent location. Friendly receptionist in the evening (different receptionist was not so friendly on check out in the morning, but was efficient). Food in new cantina style bistro was ok but overpriced but then you were sat right by the river next to the Fountain – so I suppose you have to pay for the location No nearby free car parking, but could park our motorbikes outside the hotel for free. Breakfast at 18 Euros was too expensive. Bathrooms dated and needed replacing. Room 45 and 46 had no view and looked over kitchens.

Pleasant traditional town centre hotel right by the River Meuse - close to tourist information and local restaurants. Staff were friendy and very helpful. Hotel has a bistro/restaurant attached - good food with attentive waiting staff. Luggage can be dropped off at the hotel but parking seems to be resticted to public parking. There is a large public car park a little further down the river bank around 300m from the hotel.

I've stayed here many times over the past several years and the property offers a great location as well as value for your money if you are travelling to Verdun. The staff is friendly and the food is quite good.

I liked the fact that there were two decent doubles in our family room as well as a couch and table. Very spacious. Lovely corner bath too. There was no shower - apart from a sit down one in the shower. Breakfast was ridiculously expensive, 18€ pp on top of 150€ for one night in the room. We went to a bakery around the corner instead.

Great central location for the town. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Vehicle access to the hotel is difficult, and the garage parking was a few minutes walk away.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. No way is this a 3 star. In our "traditional room" the wc was separated from the bedroom by a plastic curtain! Wardrobe falling apart and rest of furniture very poor. We asked for non smoking room but that was ignored. Room tiny, no air conditioning and very noisy at night. Hotel staff miserable. A dreadful place. We were told the restaurant was closed and this was a Saturday evening! We stayed in the Chateau des Monthairons on the way out and Coq Hardi on the way back. From the sublime to the rediculous. Monthairons is a 10 star compared with this dreadful place. I would not stay here again if offered free accommodation and meals.
