The staff are friendly and smiled when they overcharged me for the previous nights meal by 100 euros! The hotel is remote and the spa facilities ordinary at best. The restaurant is expensive and not worth the money. The wines are also overpriced and the hotel takes advantage of its own remoteness knowing that guests have nowhere else to eat!

The general ambience is good. Swimming pool complex was pleasant and the gardens beautiful. 1. room faced a noisy road. 2.Meals and extras were extremely expensive. 2 tiny cups of coffee just 2 swallows cost 24 euros .Continental breakfast 44 euros for 2 people. We ate out all the time because we`would have run up a bill of £1000 during our 4`day stay.

I liked the informal check in, and the knowledge of who you were without you having to say 1St night there was a welcome bottle of water and some cakes in the room, then chocolates on the pillow when you retired. 2Nd and 3rd nights there was nothing.Menu didn't change at all, and if you are there for more than one night, there should be some changes.Being Champagne region, a half bottle of Champagne in an ice bucket in your room would have been a nice touch. Room rate very high, considering breakfast was extra.

The restaurant was excellent and the bar was very comfortable. A walk in the garden was lovely. The location in a small triangle between two roads was not so nice. Especially during the day when there is a lot of traffic which one hears constantly. For a one night stay when one is not spending much time at the hotel it is fine. I would not suggest this hotel for several nights because of the location. The fact that the wireless access only worked in the reception area needs to be addressed!

Cuisine was good with a fine wine list and a comfortable dining area..Overall it is a good location for discovering the champagne trail, and close to Epernay. A bit pretentious and can be poor value depending where you booked it.

Ambience is superb. Facilities superb. I am afraid on this occasion the restaurant staff seemed pre-occupied and the attentive service wasn't up to what is expected. I was diappointed with the choice of glasses of wine which was limited and far too expensive. The wine chosen was bitter which suggested the bottle had been opened for some time and served not at the right temperature.

The food was invariably excellent, Michelen quality Some of the wines are - by current difficult times standards - eye- waterinlgy expensive E.g paying €20 for a single glass of red - albeit very good red - to accompany my cheese course was a shock. I guess most of the guests were paid for by their companies and worried less about the bill

The latest of numerous visits, with the facilities obviously upgraded after the hotel changed hands. Comfortable room with bold colours, though expensive in the way of Relais et Chateaux. Dining room was almost empty, a pity since the cooking is very good, with recent Michelin star. Food and service high-class, though the two weekday menus are overpriced. Altogether a nice place to stay and very convenient for the champagne area. The wine list is silly, hugely expensive grand wines but no real evidence of an informed choice of more affordable wines - "Overseas" list had about 6 wines, after many pages of first growth clarets at vast prices. Management needs to look seriously at their wine list and pricing policy.

Just its location Customer service is very poor, the room description does not meet the standard of room, too concerned on booking you into the restaurant than looking after you in the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their English was definitely better than my French! The hotel is very close to many Champagne houses and is surrounded by vineyards making the views very beautiful. We only stayed one night so didn't try the indoor pool or spa facilities. The evening meal was fabulous and the wine was delicious. The Sommelier was very helpful and chose a reasonable wine which suited our tastes perfectly.

This was a fantastic hotel- I knew it was at the higher end price-wise, but the booking.com rate was preferential to the quoted one, and this hotel lived up to expectations in every way. The chef there was delightful, Michel, and we hope he has a great career. The staff were extremely helpful, and the facilities exceptional- couldn't afford to stay there a week though, but a lovely end to our holiday.
