Not bad just fot showering and getting some rest Entrance door to the hotel is terribly loud when open and closing very annoying at 2am. Beds were terribly hard and not comfortable. The area seems a bit rough but I didnt have any issues. The steps are very small on the staircase? I fell a few times.

Loved the location, everything is a few metro stops away. The neighborhood is good and safe, many shops, bars, things to see near the hotel. The street the hotel is on is quiet at night, so u can have proper night's sleep. Rooms very clean, comfortable, extra blankets, pillows, 2 heaters provided. New towels, soap provided every day. The bathroom has a hair-dryer. The walls are really thin at the hotel, u can hear ppl in the other rooms, the hallway, but it's not that disturbing as ppl are quiet at night and during the day we didn't spend any time at the hotel. Convenient to where the rest of our Group were staying. Also near to Sacre Coeur. with excellent views of Paris Hotel rating system is obviously very different to that of UK; hotel was clean and adequate but disappointing for 3*.

Ideal location. Only 5 min walk to Metro station. Only toilet and one light were functioning in the room. The rest all faulty and caused the room very "dark"

Price was good. Staff was decently friendly (as far as Parisians go) and able to accomodate certain things. The location is absolutely terrible. It is a pain to get to the heart of the city for attractions and the neighborhood is a bit sketchy in itself. Also, the beds were extremely uncomfortable

The location of this hotel is good and easy to find it. The room was quite alright, apart from the broken sink but the breakfast was terrible it wasn't worth 10EUR/p/n. The service was really slow, the continental breakfast means one croissant and one baguette and 2 little jams, we had to que and wait more than 5 minutes to get a table as the bfast room was full and only one woman looked afte the guests. It wasn't a buffe table so you couldn't even choose and there was no cereals, no choice of juices, only orange, the croissant wasn't fresh neither those poor apples. When I complained and wanted some kind of compensation I didn't get it and the receptionist didn't seemed to be care about it. If I had known the breakfast was going to be so bad (all I had was a small cup of tea..for 10EUR...as there wasn't too much other choices) I wouldn't have paid for it or at least the hotel should have given my money back for that. But they didn't.

The staff were really excellent - they were very helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location was close to facilities - we walked to the Gard du Nord and Gard de L'Est. Tourist buses also very close for pickup and set down. It gave a an insight into the real Paris. Nothing at all - in spite of being there during the biggest heat wave in 7 years!

Perfect location: close to a major train station Gare du Nord; strolling distance from a mini train station and a pick-up point for Open Tour buses - Anvers; proximity to shops and stores. Though we encountered this almost everywhere we went in Paris, debit cards are not accepted for payment. Advance information about this needs to be provided to tourists to avoid embarrassment.

Nothing. It was the worst hotel I stayed in on a recent (May 2011) trip to Paris and by far the most expensive. It is incredible that it characterizes itself as three star when it may not even be two star. A very sad ending to an otherwise great trip. Do not stay here! Cost Location Cost "Decor" Cost Difficult to find Cost "Comfort"

I had a last minute business trip come up to Paris. I wanted to stay one extra day for leisure. The Bellevue had space for me after my meeting was complete. Unfortunately, both the French Open and the g8 were in town, so the price for two nights based on demand (400 Euro ) was very high but I needed a place to stay. It was very clean and since I was not planning on spending any more time in the room than sleeping and a shower, it was acceptable. Since they have 400 Euro of my money for Room 45, that should allow them to buy a new and nice double mattress that helps future visitors not crash into each other because they are rolling into the middle of the double bed platform with skinny and worn out single bed mattresses on top.
