Hotel Résidence Anglet Biarritz-Parme  

As we stayed there at the end of the season the hotel was pretty empty, restaurant was closed as was the bar but the very nice and well spoken( English) opened up the bar for us . The swimming pool was just what we needed after a long drive from Madrid, the rooms all have a balcony over looking the pool, but the bed could have been bigger and the mattresses too soft for hotel standards. A good place to stay if you are traveling to Spain but will be very busy in the high season due to pool and location near the very nice beaches 10 minute drive away.

Staff very helpful. We only had an overnight stay on our way to Spain. Arrived later than expected but managed to get dinner ok . Food and service was good. Although we requested a ground floor room they suggested that because of a coach party on 2nd floor, we may prefer a larger room on 4th floor lvg over swimming pool. Which had a lovely balcony.

The bed was uncomfortable and no tea or coffee facility in the room.

The hotel is well-situated and all rooms have a balcony with a table and chairs which overlook the swimming pool. Also adjacent to the pool, and outside the restaurant, is a patio area for al fresco drinking and eating. The car park is good, free, and well-sheltered by large trees. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, particularly the welcome from the receptionist on arrival. The dining room staff were also very efficient and helpful. The evening menu was average and breakfast was adequate.

Our room and en-suite was in need of some serious updating. We were given a family room (although booked a double, but we didn't mind that) and there were 2 bunk beds in addition to the double bed, and a dining table and 4 chairs. The layout was not appealing and the decor was dull. The bed was only just acceptable, being very low with a hard (?cheap) mattress. This was OK for 1 night only. Ours was a late booking, so maybe the other rooms were of better quality.

Really good value for money. Friendly staff. Great pool.

Better toilet paper in the rooms

Some of the staff non-friendly. Additional costs for kitchenette and baby cot and the fact they are not for free were not announced upfront. I was disappointed to find out I have to pay more during check-out. Sauna is poorly equipped - nowhere to sit and relax.

Good hotel for a short stay, practical for families because the room is a kind of apartment,nice swimming pool, resaurant is poor but good restaurants are not too far away.

Staff was excellent

Hotel could do with a upgrand in rooms regarding fixture and fittings. Hotel looking old and tired needs a face lift .

very clean , nice friendly staff, easy to find and close to motorway,had a fabulous meal,and easy breakfast next morning ,would definetly say there again while touring

The hotel is clean, friendly and good value.

The worst aspect of the hotel was the comfort of the bed. I have stayed twice in the last month and the bed was particularly uncomfortable on both stays. The bed sags in the middle and I woke with back and neck pains on both visits. Everything else about the hotel was excellent but the bed would make me think twice about booking again.

This hotel was clean, calm, comfortable, had an excellent swimming pool. I would stay here again, and the staff were friendly and helpful on the whole

Unfortunately I fell sick with food poisoning (not from the hotel's food) and was unable to leave the hotel to buy food or medication; I was refused some bread or pain killers at reception which I thought was pretty poor, supposedly they didn't have anything.

The staff friendly. Clean room and very hot water. Tv in room,one english channel. Double room and one single, single was a bunk bed, but just off the double room, better privacy re adults sharing, for overnight. Swimming pool heated. Spar and a one set evening meal if required. Continental breakfast only.

No facility to make tea/coffee unless paid big deposit.. Breakfast paid for, only continental..cooked breakfast would have been nice as paid for,

Hotel bien situé. Belle entrée avec bon accueil. Chambre tranquille et bien agencée pour 4. Sanitaires propres (douche à l itamienne). Activités sportives sympas. Dommage que la météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de cette grande piscine.

L hotel aurait besoin d un petit coup de jeune : rafraichir les peintures et les salles de sport. Il manquait un distributeur de boissons chaudes.

, hôtel est très mal insonorisé . Nous logions prés de l'ascenseur et d'une porte battante qui grinçait à chaque ouverture..! c'est extrêmement désagréable! On entendait les cliclacs se déplier , les gens qui baillaient.. Bref on entendait tout! Le petit déjeuner est cher par rapport à ce qui est proposé, c'est très classique. Nous devions rester 3 nuits finalement nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits!

Les équipements: piscine, squash, sauna, terrain de tennis (même si celui-ci est très peu entretenu j'ai l'impression). Le personnel, très sympathique

equipements tres anciens, chambre vetuste, trace de rouille dans la salle de bain salle de fitness n'a aucun equipement qui fonctionne

chambre et SDB spacieuse, petite terrasse vue sur piscine. pas de problème pour garer la voiture.

lit trop court pour mon ado qui mesure 1.78 m, TV trop petite. Le prix du petit déjeuner trop élevé pour un buffet aussi peu varié (pas de pain au chocolat, pas d’œuf, salade de fruit en boîte, mauvais café.) même pas la possibilité de se placer ou on voulez les tables marquées d'avance.

Les équipements sportifs(tennis et tennis de table) sont plutôt vétustes. L'impossibilité à pouvoir se restaurer sur place, le soir.

La literie

Les chambres sont faites beaucoup trop tard. Le menu proposé au restaurant est trop simpliste. La piscine est sale. Le court de tennis ne ressemble à rien. Le tout est décevant.Trop cher.

Déplacement professionnel donc connexion wifi dans les chambres, (pas toujours le cas sur ce type d'hébergement)
