Poor facilities and staff not friendly. Cannot understand why the hotel require the customers to give back the keys every time they leave the room.
Proximity to Train Station/street car Ventilated rooms
No secure(i.e. locked) luggage storage after check-out 10-15 minutes walk to central plaza/old town
We enjoyed the convenience to the la gare and attractions.
Smoking of staff.
easy to find, nice staff, clean room, good wifi signal, we have stayed for 3 nights.
Good location, Not too expensive. The room was small but clean. I guess its ok for a couple of nights.
Sink was blocked with water. But after a day they came to fix it.
Very helpful staff, very clearn. 10 min walk from main station. Good budget accommodation
Furniture a little faded, buy as you would expect for a 2 star hotel
A quiet room close to railway station and tram stop.
I reckon I was bitten by a flea on two occasions. I splattered one blood sucker on the wall and he exploded. No English tv channels only 6 French ones. I had room 35. The shower worked well but you had to be a gymnast to get out of it.
Super great value for the location! Close to train station yet right off the Main Street, not too far away from the ocean either, about 10min walk. Elevator yes Wifi yes Cleanness yes Friendly staff yes That's all it needed!!
Small room, but that's expected from what I paid for! Kinda far from Old Town area?
Good deal if you're on a budget. Location is fine, close to road that has tram on it and leads to coast.
It's a little worn, ugly ceiling and walls, small room. If you have 20 euro more per night to spend, go somewhere nicer. It's fine for a budget hotel. Not a great place for vegetarians as the butcher downstairs is very smelly. Can't leave window open or room smells of bacon.
Close to station, friendly, helpful staff for directions and advice.
Nothing, it was a one night stay and suited me well.
Value for money and 'downtown' location
Only minus point was having to wait half an hour to check-in, whilst receptionist gave copious info to other guests about suggested sightseeing tours. Other than that, fine!
The beds were comfy, sheets were spotless as was the bathroom. Wifi was also good! It's a much more reasonable hotel for it's location which is just off the main shopping street and 10mins to Promenade des Anglaise. The rooms are basic but well kept and the staff were very helpful!
The carpets could do with being changed, especially in the hall ways and the lift is tiny!
Easy to walk to train station and nice walk to sea. Our room was spacious
Most of the staff members where friendly and helpful. One woman was not so helpful. Maybe it was the language difference. We had a long travel to get there
perfect location to city center
hotel has no parking place, parking is impossible on the streets and it is very difficult to reach the hotel by car
It's a little rough around the edges but I really enjoyed my stay. Turn right out the hotel door, walk 20m and you're on the lovely main street down to the beach. Ten mins and you're in the water - magic!
Wifi and hot water in the shower were both a little patchy
staff is nice
one day when we back to the room, we found that our room was unlocked after they clean it, very unsafe for the luggages we left in the room. Meanwhile, we have to hand in the key to the reception everyday when we go out!
The location is amazing. Just off the main shopping street and steps away from the train station. The old town and beach are a 15 min walk away. Incredibly safe neighbourhood with a police station next to the hotel! Staff were fantastic, very helpful and welcoming. I'd stay here again.
The price for breakfast just on the corner for less money an better breakfast. In hotel everytime the same .
Decent bathroom Wifi Great location if travelling by train Staff's language skills
Shabby Took the money before I'd arrived
Location, next to the train station! Personal very friendly!
available air conditioner, location is nearby tram station,
small bathroom, not clean enough, female staff is cold, small lift
I've just had my 4th happy stay at hotel Amaryllis. Location, comfort and friendly staff make this my first choice hotel in Nice.
Good location near the train station and the high street. Staff very approachable and friendly. Daily cleaning in the room and fresh towels every time. Good air conditioning and wi-fi, also hair dryer in toilets. Powerful and hot water in the shower. Nothing fancy but good in general for the prices in the Riviera.
The room and the bathroom was very clean when I arrive, but when I lift up the toilet seat. it seemed that somebody use it and forgot to flush it away. So the staff should check this before giving the room to the guest, Not nice for the first impression. The walls in between rooms may be very thin as you can clearly hear other people's conversations just as if they were in your same room. The halls and corridors are quite dark and it was a funny smell probably from the carpet.
it has hair dryer, quiet place, near train station and main road, good staffs.
hard to find the place, small beds.
