Hôtel Arc En Ciel  

The room was nice looking and the bed was comfy. It was very quiet as well.

Maybe it was a bad luck, or I got a really bad room but: The first day I came, it was about 11 P.M., I got into the room and learned that the fitted carpet was not vacuumed for couple of days, there was sombody elses hair in the sink, and a chewing gum attached to the wall in the shower. Next day, it was ok. When I came into the room, someone had already cleaned it properly (except for the gum). Unfortunately, there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom as well. The third day I came to the hotel, I learned that the window of my room was wide open (maybe the purpose was to get rid of the smell) but there were 4 giant flies in my room...attracted by the smell from the bathroom, I guess. I am sorry, but Arc en Ciel never again.

The location was not extraordinary, but more importantly, our bathroom smelled smokey, despite being a non-smoking room.

Very poor cleaning and very bad conditions of the bathroom. Shower not fixed on the wall, very unconfortable and synonim of negligence.

Reception was closed by arrival. Small rooms, no elevator, no diner in the restaurant cause shortage of staff !

The room was an ok size with two pull down bunkbeds. The amazing on site zebra striped bistro looked interesting but no good for veggies. The car park was secure and locked at night which was reassuring since we had all our stuff in the car.

The Wardrobe didn't have a door (by design) and it was in the way of the windows which we needed to open because of the hot night. With the window open the nearby church clock which chimed every quarter of an hour combined to make it very hard to sleep. The bathroom was cramped but ok. The walls had some fluffy dusty debris on the wall paper.

Good value for Strasbourg. Quiet location. Very good and secure parking. Location not the best but simple and cheap bus ride to city centre (or walk, 1.5-2km) so easier and cheaper to leave car at Hotel.

Rooms a bit small and no lift, Hotel ok for short stay but not ideal with a lot of luggage.

The car parking is a plus.

Wireless didn't work.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff. free parking, bus 100 meters from the hotel and the center was only 15 min walk.

La simpatia del receptionist, veramente gentile e disponibile! Vicino al noleggio delle biciclette con le quali si può arrivare facilmente a Strasburgo (è tutta piatta la strada). La colazione era semplice ma ricca, in particolare lo spremi-agrumi e il bollitore per le uova sono cose che non si trovano facilmente ma che fanno di una colazione qualcosa di diverso dal solito. Parcheggio gratutito (ho parcheggiato in città e mi hanno portato via la macchina...110 euro di multa!!) Prezzo conveniente.

L'infrastruttura è vecchia.

Unglaublich nett der Herr an der Rezeption....sich sehr bemüht mit Informationen und half viel....

Personnel serviable. Tranquilité. A proximité un excellent restaurant.
