Convenience, central location, good value for money.

Too noisy outside (air handling plant etc) to open windows overnight; room was hot and stuffy.

It's location next door to the Gare Flanders and approx. 400M from Gare Eurolille. Close proximity to shops. Good room price.

I can't believe we have to pay 2 euros to leave our luggage at the hotel. It's an automatic locker. We had to pay twice on the day of our arrival and departure. Normally in Japan, if you have this kind of locker system, the money will be returned to you when you open the key. It should be a free service to customers. It's better to include the 2 euros in the hotel price than ask the guests to pay extra.

The hotel was well positioned for the reason we chose it to be in the centre of Lille and if we had travelled by train would have been perfectly located. The breakfast was good value for money anf of a reasonable quality - the reastuarant was a pleasant experience.

The hotel had no parking facility, this was not described before booking and the parking whilst convenient was expensive, the room was very small ( it was very clean though ) and the bed very hard. The staff were courteous but did not go out of their way to be freindly or over helpful. The night manager had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke on his clothing making it unpleasant to speak with him. Compared with many other three star hotels we have stayed in this was a dissapointment.

The hotel staff were lovely and could speak English very well, although we tried to speak French! There were extra blankets (very comfy!) as it was very cold when we stayed in France. The style and decor of the room was pleasant and we had a walk in shower which was also very nice.

There wasn't a kettle with tea or coffee for the morning, but we didn't ask for one so they may supply them on request. Slightly hard to find if you haven't been to that part of Lille before - it is a small door with a restaurant/cafe either side.

Definitely not 3 star, 2 at the most, room very small, beds very narrow, not comfortable, ?foam mattress, TV not watchable from bed, bed linen on one of the beds did not look very clean

The room was reasonably quiet even though it faced the main railway station. The room was on the small side but as I was travelling on my own it was quite adequate and the heating worked well. The en-suite was very clean and well decorated. The decoration of the bedroom was relaxing. The hotel is close to a wide variety of restaurants and is an easy ,short walk from the shopping area of town.

We thought the hotel was clean, comfortable and friendly and very well located. We looked at the customer reviews before booking. The 8 minute walk from the eurostar station was a bonus. The one thing we would have liked in the room was tea and coffee making facilities. Overall very pleased and satisified and will stay in the same hotel again
