Hôtel Balladins Vigneux  

We visited Paris in peak season - bad idea but I love Paris. This hotel is situated in an industrial / shopping area. We have a car and this hotel has secure (coded Gate) car park. It is very cheap for Paris. We used the local bus to Gare Vigneux au Seine, very frequent trains.The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Paris is about a 45 minute journey by bus/train then metro. A very large Auchan supermarket is a 5 minute stroll away. The staff were very helpful and spoke adequate English.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Our expectations, granted, were fairly low but the hotel was clean, the room had a separate bathroom and shower and provided clean towels, soap and a flat screen television. Don't look for all of the optional extras. This is a plain hotel in an industrial area. If you can live with that it is a sound choice. The surrounding area was fairly sparse in terms of attractions unless you are a train or plane spotter, but for us looking for a hotel with access to Orly airport it was flexible enough to allow for an early checkout to meet a flight. The management's english was sufficient with our poor french to communicate

Located in an industrial area. There is no near public transport and restaurants/cafes are located a fair distance away. One thing that could be offered that would make sense would be a local map with eating/ drinking options located on it.

Awful taxi service recommended by receptionist! Charged 55 euro's for à few KMS to the airport...

Close to Paris

I really liked the price. It was close to a mall that had many nice stores. Our room was clean and small, but cozy. It was not very far from a bus stop that would take us to the train to Paris.

There was no telephone in the room and no air conditioning. It was about a half an hour to the Paris by bus and train every morning and every evening. It just was not as convenient as I had hoped it would be.

Affordability and price. Hotel staff are courteous and helpful. The security of parking inside the compound, this is great. If you are not choosy and just needed a place to stay, this is it. Close to bus station and train station.

Needs a good renovation to attract more people because the pictures in the internet are kind of deceiving and does not look like a hotel from far. We thought that we came to an abandoned building when we arrived. Come up with something to make the front of the hotel more attracting. Do something with those huge plants in front of the hotel entrance. Need a drop box for keys for people who leave the hotel early in the morning.

Staff helpfull no delay

the staff was very kind and friendly. It was near good shopping center and the area was quiet and nice!

the bad part was the staff left the hotel at 8 pm every day and there was nobody there in the case of help. It was scary for me.I think it is normal to have a 24 staff in a hotel. Moreover, there was no inter access in rooms and in the lobby there was a poor connection.

I just loved the staff ! Even though they new very little English they helped us out so willingly using diagrams and actions. The reception lady with specs was so kind.

Too far to get to Paris. A bus journey and two tube journeys get ou to the Louvre.

Cheap, kind staff. Good for business stay.

Quite noisy - there's the parking just outside the rooms.

Not well placed for international travellers - an hour to central Paris. Have to get bus to train station, nil Sundays! Staff failed to tell us this.Altho looks close to Orly airport it is a very complicated route and cost heaps, as did a taxi to the Eurostar. Ok if driving around France but not suitable for people off aircraft.
