Pleasant environment Possibly a slight pressure to use restuarants of the hotel's recommendation, but not really a problem. |

Be sure to visit the vineyards of the Chablis Grand Crus in the hills above Chablis. Buy your wine there versus the caves in town. No Lift so pack lite as you will be hauling your suitcases up stairs. |

The location was perfect. You walked right out your door to downtown Chablis. The hotel was kid friendly and they ate breakfast for free which had yogurts, fruits, breads, juice, coffee, cereal. the room was perfect for a family of four. There was a grocery store, bakery 1 block away. The owner and her staff were very freindly and helpful. Sunday morning is the French market which is a must see. It was a bit rude to have to wait in the lobby for so long. No one one was at the desk to welcome us and for a bed and breakfast atmosphere we felt unwelcome at first. We noticed they did that alot to their customers . |

The location is good being at the heart of the village. Lack of parking facilities. We used the public parking on the square but the market is there on Sundays. |

Very noisy room on side street, opposite the rear of a Turkish kebab house, so noisy at night and again in the morning, A strong smell of food before dawn, followed by noisy street cleaner before the church bells started - three nights with virtually no sleep. |

our stay was very pleasant. It was a nice room set in the middle of the quiet village of Chablis. Excellent location for a stop en route to somewhere or as a base for a wine tour. no wi fi connection in the hotel. |

We got a "apartment" in a building 50 meters from the hotel in a 400 year old building. Inside it was very charming with old stone walls and a terrace with a beautifull view. In the hotelbuldning you could try different Chablis wines. The staff couldent speak english so well. The charming room smelled a little like a moist cellar. |

The room was clean and well furnished , the location central and the price reasonable if the facilities had been in place. Two of the younger members of staff were charming. Check in is not until four o'clock which is rather late.We had a frosty reception because we would not commit ourselves to eating there that night. On returning at half past eight , the bar was shut , and in the morning the breakfast (10 euros each) consisted of a small selection of dried up bread , a bowl of prunes and some bran flakes. We foraged for our own butter and jam , taking it from another table. When another couple asked for croissants , they were told that they had all been eaten. We were well within the breakfast times and Chablis has a boulangerie. We were charged 7.50 euros for this instead of 10 euros , but this was no compensation for the complacent attitude of the owner. |

Location was excellent, service was friendly and the rooms very comfortable Breakfast was not continental, more like basic French, tea, coffee, bread and jam, and would certainly not set you up for the rest of the day `( we were driiving on to Frankfurt and looking for a good start). At 7.50 Euros a bit of a rip-off and very misleading, although after complaining they did not charge us. |

Our room was reasonablly sized, but because hotel is a historic building in Chablis, bathroom in room is extremely small and plumbing is noisy. The hotel owner is a Franco-American who returned to France; lovely woman with great energy. Chablis is a nice little town to visit if you're doing the Bourgogne region. Good value hotel for the room price. |

The hotel offers the comfort expected of a 2-star establishment in Burgundy, a famous wine producing region, and 20 km from the city of Chablis. |
