Receptionist very friendly and helpful

Really expensive for what I got! Room was very dark and old with a persisten smell of swers. The level of lighting was very low - not enough to read a book - and the bathroom ventilation was not working. No windows either in the bathroom.... The hotel looks quite popular with turist and having booked the room on Booking.com I am wondering if people who book on Booking.com get lower quality than the others...

Location was great, right near the old city, shopping and restaurants.

Bathrooms need updating. We had 2 rooms and both showers had problems with them. The kids had a bath with no shower attachment at all so they had to use our bathroom if they wanted a shower. No wifi in rooms.

No coffee maker in room! If you want to have coffee or tea when you returned to hotel, you'd be disappointed.

Not room 123! I wouldn't even rent that one out. 115 was much better. However, the toiletries are very skimpy. No coffee in the room? A rarity these days. And cruel to boot.

The valet parking, driver did not care about the customer's car and was not interested when a problem was pointed out!

The location of the hotel to the train line was terrific and on speaking to others in hotels in the walled city, the Bristol's car parking was perhaps easier to use. However I was using the train service.

For a 6 day stay not to have wifi access in my room was annoying especially after going twice to reception to find out how to access it and told how easy it was to do. On my next visit another staff member was on the desk and said my room did not have wifi access. Surely there could have been a notice in my room or better still the reception staff know. However as a single traveller I found sitting in a freezing lobby late at night annoying and in this day and age not really acceptable. Furthermore the bed was very hard. My room would have suited a family group. I also think the reception staff should have known a bit more about things in Avignon and not throw away lines like, " there's a tourist train out there you could get." Where? How?

The location was great inside the old city. Our room was nice and overlooked the street which we liked.

The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located - on the main road, near the city train station and the bus stop to TGV station. There is free wifi but only in the lobby and it works well.

Excellent location in relation to the main train station and easy walk to all attractions. The staff were friendly and professional. Room was smallish but adequate and very clean with comfy beds. Nice big tv and free wifi.

Once inside the hotel room you wouldn't know you were in France as the decor was very plain so something 'French' on the walls or so would have been a nice touch.

They did not have a garage that fitted our car as promised. They were very helpful though to find an alternative solution
