Hôtel - Restaurant Carlina  

It was a quiet and extremely friendly hotel. The staff were brilliant and met all my expectations and then some. Food was very good with plenty of choice.The management were exceptionally friendly and helpful even to the point of personally picking me up in their own transport after a late arrival. Nothing but praise for the Hotel - Restaurant Carlina and all of it,s staff. The views from my room was great.

The only negative point I would make is that the distance between the Bettex gondola and hotel are only 100 yards as the crow flies but is only accessible by a pretty steep very winding road. Whilst going down from the hotel to the lift is easy and quick going back after a long days skiing carrying skiis and boots was very tiring for anyone of my age ( 69 yrs.)

super elevated position if you arrive by own car, views fabulous, log fires in evening, spacious communal areas with comfortable furniture for relaxing

not a complaint , but with the lack of snow, getting to the lift station from hotel and back again was really tiring in ski boots - hotel very close as bird flies, but accessed by very steep windy road or even steeper grassy/muddy banking. Had the snow been good, the links to Bettex and the slopes beyond,and facility of leaving walking boots there would have reduced the difficulty. also long walk into town to shops and restaurants really need your own transport to this hotel. When we came back from contamines the lack of public transport meant an even longer walk with ski boots and skis from centre of town

Les lits un peu dur pour un grand

Le calme, la proximité du télécabine. La position géographique de l'hôtel, qui, bien qu'excentré permet un accès piéton facile au centre du village. L'amabilité et la gentillesse du personnel et de la direction.

Vraiment "vintage"... (Moquettes et boiseries fatiguées). Cà rappelle des souvenirs mais çà peut décevoir une clientèle jeune. Le petit déjeuner, vraiment basique pour un 3* et sa salle trop petite.

La situation géographique, l'acceuil du personel.

La décorations des chambres un peu vieillote.

Accueil familial et personnel vraiment très sympa la piscine est top

les équipements des chambres (portes, salle de bain) sont viellots le restaurant est très bons mais ne propose pas de spécialité locales c'est dommage

God beliggenhet I forhold til kabelbane til skianlegg. Fint med svømmebasseng og bordtennis. Hyggelig restaurant/bar med fyr på peisen.

L'eau de la piscine était froide ... on a pas pu vraiment en profiter ... dommage quand c'était l'un de nos critère important ... Hotel un peu viellot, manque d'entretien, la moquette sent le vieux, pas de rideau de douche ...

The location is so close to the lift, very convenient. Although it is on a hill, you can rent the ski at the foot of the hill and return it there everyday, so there's no worries of hiking too arduously. It is a little far from the town center but we liked it that we could have a walk after a big meal every evening. They are building a bridge so it will be much closer to town later. I liked my choice!

J'ai bien aimé l'équipement de l'hotel en général et sa propretè

Manifestement cet hotel est spécialisé dans les moyens séjours avec pension ou demi pension : si le menu pentionnaire était parfait la carte passager laissait a désirer non sur sa qualité mais sur la quantité ! Personnel d'accueil pas ouvert et service un peu dépassé ! Petit déjeuner à volonté mais " à redemander " pour l'etre !

La situation géographique est excellente à deux pas du téléphérique. Très bon accueil, personnel attentionné Très familial, les enfants s'y sentent bien

Il est préférable de venir en voiture

The advertised ability to use the internet was incorrect - wifi did not work - had to use hotel computer and only the first 10 minutes was free.
