super elevated position if you arrive by own car, views fabulous, log fires in evening, spacious communal areas with comfortable furniture for relaxing not a complaint , but with the lack of snow, getting to the lift station from hotel and back again was really tiring in ski boots - hotel very close as bird flies, but accessed by very steep windy road or even steeper grassy/muddy banking. Had the snow been good, the links to Bettex and the slopes beyond,and facility of leaving walking boots there would have reduced the difficulty. also long walk into town to shops and restaurants really need your own transport to this hotel. When we came back from contamines the lack of public transport meant an even longer walk with ski boots and skis from centre of town

Basic room but comfortable. Excellent location very close proximity to the gondola for getting up to the ski field. Not having to book for a whole week was good. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been greatly appreciated.

Friendly service, simple but nice breakfasts, close to ski lifts and nice sauna / pool area. And a good price. The hotel (and especially the rooms) are dark and old fashioned. It should be freshened up a bit.

Great Little Hotel on the side of the mountain, perfect position for the Bettex cable car. Hotel was quite traditional, with some rather 'traditional' carpets and furnishings, but the double doors onto our balcony was a great addition to the room. Bathroom was up to date and clean. The bar had a great central fireplace, with 70s chairs and friendly staff, wierd drinks though, and didn't try the restaurant. The best and most recent addition to the hotel was the mid-size pool - clean and big enough to have a swi and a mess about. There was a cute little 2 person sauna, that would have been switched on on request. the pool had a glass door to the garden which looks like it would be good in summer. On the whole comfortable, but not the ritz. The furnishings could do with being updated.

Personnel attentif et agréable Produits de qualité au pdj Belle vue sur les montagnes L'eau de la piscine était froide ... on a pas pu vraiment en profiter ... dommage quand c'était l'un de nos critère important ... Hotel un peu viellot, manque d'entretien, la moquette sent le vieux, pas de rideau de douche ...

die Lage und Aussicht unseres Zimmers war sehr schön, eigentlich sehr liebevoll gestaltet, jedoch schon etwas abgewohnt. Wenn man die Qualität der Speisen betrachtet, war der Preis viel zu hoch, aber man muß ja nicht im Hotel Abendessen

Personnel sympathique et discret, ambiance familiale. Bonne situation (encore meilleure quand l'enneigement permet de redescendre jusqu'à l'hôtel) : proche ville et pistes. Équipements (piscine, spa...) disponibles. Repas du soir copieux, excellent tout en restant simple. Propreté impeccable. Calme. Bon rapport qualité / prix. Séjour très agréable. Déco des chambres un peu datée et plomberie / sanitaires à entretenir (tirer de multiples fois la chasse d'eau pour être efficace devient vite exaspérant). Pas de douche (baignoire avec pommeau uniquement).
