Hôtel Le Chaplain Rive Gauche  

A very nice hotel that is very well located. A bit aside from the big Bld Montparnasse. Rooms were very well decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice. Excellent value for the money!

Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the night as people from the next door restaurant come out on the street to smoke. Ask for a room facing the other way or have earplugs with you if you are sensitive to sounds.

Perfect location, calm, friendly. Would come back anytime.

The hotel is located in a great area of Paris, convenient to the subway and surrounded by restaurant choices. While the rooms are small, they are clean and modern. The service of the staff truly stands out - everyone we dealt with was courteous, very helpful and made our holiday a great experience. Highly recommend this hotel.

We searched through booking.com for a reasonable priced, well located and high rated hotel in Paris. We found this hotel, and after hearing about how small and poorley kept hotels in Paris are, we had a very nice surprise at arrival. The staff is very attentive and helpful, and always polite and smiling. The rooms are very comfortable, nicely designed and everything is new and clean. We got fresh towels and bed sheets every day. The location is wonderful. Very close to Luxemburg Gardens and 1 minute walk to closest Metro station. The most important thing for us, as it was our honeymoon, was a nice bed (and not two attached beds like many hotels around Europe), we where promised and it was delivered without any problems!!! All in all we think very highly of this hotel and recomend it to all without hesitations. We would deffinently go back on our next visit to Paris!!!

The Hotel staff were very helpfull. The Hotel was clean and in a quiet street It was close to the rer b train line and the metro, also Tour Montparnasse 56 tower. All in all we would return to Hotel Le Chaplain.

It was clean, quiet, and fully corresponded with decsription provided on the site. Helpful staff, adequate room space. Buffet breakfast includes french bread, orange fresh juice, boiled eggs, sliced meat, 4 types of cheese, coffee/tea. The hotel is situated closely to Luxemburg garden, on a quiet street. And at the same time, lots of pleasant restautrants, pub, bistros are nearby.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Their understanding of English was good. The hotel is in a good location,close to the metro and shops.

The hotel was really clean and staff were very helpful. It was conveniently located, with many restaurants, cafes and bistros around. The room was chic and classy, really liked the decor. The bathroom facilities were of top standard. Quite atmospheric, with patio in the middle of the building.

The room was quite small, with little space to walk around the bed. It could be more intimate if there was no gap between the front door and the floor (light was coming through from the hall).

Very very new and clean rooms. Small as per normal for Paris. Location may not suit everyone, but very close to the metro, and to the St Germain area which is more authentic Paris, than the tourist traps. Stayed here when discounted rate...probably would not be worth paying the full price, but at the discount rate, was excellent.
