The location was fabulous for visiting, shopping and close to family members so ideal for us. The staff was plaisant and polite. No welcome drink. Rm very small. Furniture shabby. Black mould around the tiles in the shower. How to improve: Clean with bleach & put a layer of white grout and it will look as new (pls see our bathroom...). Hair dryer in bathroom (rm 303) not working and extension lead not available to dry hair in front of a mirror... Breakfast choice limited. We were charged 8 euros more for asking breasfast in room only once and for 1 person because my husband had been ill all night after eating at the brasserie right next to the hotel! When he checked out he was so unwell he did not even realised, I was out trying to find a chemist open so did not notice it. Sandwiches soggy, noise outside kept us awake. Disappointed Marie & Gregg |

The hotel is centrally situated with public parking just a few metres away. Although in the centre of Bordeaux, there is hardly any traffic noise as the hotel is situated on a small one way street. Good cafes, bars and restaurants within metres. Pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are slightly small for the price. We arrived for breakfast towards the end of the serving and there was virtually nothing left. The lift was out of order which meant carrying luggage down four flights of stairs. |

Good location in center of Bordeaux. Pleasant 2 star hotel with in room controlled cooling unit. Excellent WiFi and free with your computer. A parking garage is very near. Continental breakfast on the weekend ran out of croisants both Saturday and Sunday. The dining room had a single person responsible who did a great job, but could not keep up with the needs of a full hotel. No special rates for parking garage. |

*surprisingly good or maybe just a very good expectation management: says 2*, but is better than some 4 star hotels I have seen: stylish and newly refurbished rooms with coffee maker kit and bath tub, very clean! * free Internet and price incudes continental breakfest and - very cool - a lunch box for the way (sandwhich, bottle of water and fresh fruit) *very central location next to flagstores but rooms very quiet *parking in the public parking 100 away (€14.50 per night) |

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but perfectly ok for a few days. We were in a very quiet part of the hotel overlooking the courtyard. The location is excellent and very central to the major spots. We went to a very good restaurant just around the corner called Regent (46, Place Gambetta) Breakfast is a bit limited, but usual for this class of hotel and other hotels in France. |

1.Room not ready on the first day even though I arrived at 4pm. Room not even cleaned during the 2nd day! They would not even give me an extra sachet of milk for a cup of tea! No air conditioning, bitten by mosquitos extensively on 1st night. Overpriced |

Rooms were comfortable and clean and of a decent size for France. Staff friendly, very good location. Only fault was that the rooms were very warm, no air conditioning. |

The glass-door between the room and the bathroom. Dangerous because Glass is difficult to see. Light from outside coming through |

Since staying last year the hotel has been refurbished, rooms redecorated, furniture/carpets/beds changed, flat screen tvs, tea/coffee provided, it was a welcome surprise, well done. The breakfast room could do with refurbishment |

it was centrally located within a nice district in Bordeaux ( the golden triangle) with easy access to everything on the first night we were transfered to an another hotel nearby due to heavy rain fall but did not receive any compensation, some of the rooms alocated did not have any air conditioning. The view was disappointing due to work being done across from the hotel( builders generally making a great deal of noise and heavy machinery as well as a large crane just outside the window). The lift was very cramped only big enough for one person with luggage. Very few electrical sockets in the rooms |
