Staff doesn't speak English well. The bedroom isn't very clean
Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful with excellent english. Wifi worked without interruption. Located right beside to metro line and a number of brasseries in the Croix rousse district. 15-20mins from conference centre.
The room although small was clean & bright. Room serviced daily. The breakfast was good, staff pleasant and helpful. Close to the Metro. Weekly Market outside hotel, fantastic. Restaurants in area good.
The bathroom, lighting very dull, shower over the bath didn't have a curtain or screen, resulting in water everywhere if you weren't careful.
Clean facilities. A lively night life nearby, although not in city center, which was fine. Quiet area.Very friendly and helpful front desk!!
Kind of a long way from city center although, it was only two metro stops (15 mins) not that difficult. Rooms were small and one could hear most details of neighbors.
Close by the metro station. Excellent restaurants near by. Good helpful staff. Clean big room.
Nothing. I would stay there again.
The smallest rome we ever staid in. It was very difficult to take a shower because of the low weather pressure.
- Beautiful residential quarter with many locals and nice restaurants in walking distance - Nearby, safe and top affordable price garage parking across the street (upon reservation, under 10€ per night)
- The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, bedsprings drilling tensions into your back (plus typical small and short French bed for two people tiny, for people above 6'' like my SO of no use) - The stuffiest room I have ever slept in: there is absolutely no air in the room, not even with the window opened - A very unfriendly, arrogant young blonde lady when we remarked about the stuffiness: she really didn't care at all and didn't even apologize or counter it professionally: lack of crucial standard reception skills - extremely tiny bathroom without a curtain, flooding the floor immediately It's sad because this place could be more with a little love and care.
Location is very great: not a very touristic area, quite quiet, historical centre is reachable by foot down the hill. And Croix-Rousse arrondissement has its own highlights, such as plenty of traboules, and several viewpoints to observe Fourviere hill and the city. Price is good. Room is generally okay, even with atmospheric shutters on windows. Hot croissants for the breakfast.
Shower cabin doesn't have any place where to place soap, shampoo, etc. So, you always need to open cabin doors to take your soap or shampoo. No sausages or other meat things for breakfast. Sorry. :) (Though, in the same building there exists a bakery, so you may buy something there.)
spacious room - more than unusual in France such a big room for such a money
Located close to the metro, good value for money and friendly staff.
Shower curtain missing + toilets need more ventilation since it can get very humid very fast.
The receptionist at the hotel was great, gave us very good tips on thie visit of the city and restaurants. The rooms are simple but clean and functional.
On Sunday there is a market on the street so it might get a bit noisy.
Staff were great and for the price the hotel was great value for money
Was quite noisey at night
Location in city center, very old elevator, staff helpfullness
No shower curtain (all bathroom wet)
good location friendly staff. Good breakfast and great views over Lyon. Steep walk down hill to the centre so beware when coming back!
No parking at hotel and very expensive parking nearby. 38 Euro for two nights so be prepared!
Good location and it feels safe to stay there. Bakery and supermarket are just around the hotel, walking distance.
**Incredibly** kind, helpful & friendly staff. Outstanding. Location prefect for exploring La Croix Rousse + only a couple of metro stops from ;'Opera'.
Hotel situated on major boulevard so pretty noisy.
- Easy to find, good location at the top of the hill. Close to metro - Rooms OK, quite basic but clean. - I can recommend to eat breakfast close to the big rock with a super nice view of Lyon. - Fair price.
- We were a little bit chased to leave, We were some minutes late and they called even if it was just a question about 10 min.
It was basically opposite the metro stop of the same name.
Lift only takes 2 people! Had to walk up to the 5th floor if someone was using the lift. The shower curtains were made of fabric. Very strange.
Bad smell in the public areas
Location Friendly staff
The rooms were very simple and could use a bit of decor to brighten them up.
