Hôtel Cyrnos  

The location is convenient to the sights and LaFayette. The bathroom is newly renovated with a decently sized jet shower. The price is quite reasonable for its location.

They gave us a smoking room without asking us for preference. I didn't even realize that smoking rooms still existed in hotels! There were a few small bugs (maybe ants) in the bathroom.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful - went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located near all the major tourist locations and a stone's throw from the metro for those who don't like walking.

At night, the road sometimes has noisy people and this can be heard in the room which has the potential to disturb sleep.

Excellent location. Staff were very helpful and were happy to suggest activities and public transport options. They also helped us with our limited French. Rooms were small but clean, comfortable and quiet. Free WiFi and internet in reception. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a great location - we walked everywehere we wanted to go in Paris. The hotel was comfortable, and we felt safe. I liked that it is a very small, non-chain hotel.

We could here the comings and goings of our neighbors - not unusual for a hotel, but because our doors were right next to each other (at a corner), it felt too close. Luckily we did not hear them very often. There were only three rooms per floor - next time I would choose room 200, which was by itself on the other side of the building (would miss the street view though). Secondly, our bathroom had at times a mildewy smell, although the bathroom seemed very clean. There was a small gap in the skirting around the tub, which may have been the problem. Also, the bathtub faucet could be held by hand, but not hung on the wall, so our "shower room" didn't actually have a shower possibility. A shame, as the huge spa tub made it seem like a great bathroom for such an affordable room. Finally, a minor point - one of the outlets in our room didn't work. Having said all this, we were very happy with our choice of hotel.

The location was good for travelling around paris city, although the directions given on the website could b a little more detailed as we found it difficult to find. Room was very small but its not unusual for paris, and also no tea or coffee making facility in the room but again thats not unusual for paris. Staff were friendly and helpful and appreciated that the hotel was open 24 hours so no hassel gettin into hotel late at night. The bath in the bathroom was small and compact but was very helpfull to soak tired feet and body in after a long day sightseeing.

Beds are short, shower was good (lot's of warm water) but could use a reparation :)
