TV Remote wasnt working
Everything else from rude greeting by staff upon our arrival to poor accommodations. The worst of all was having to listen to another guest through the thin walls cough and gag on his mucous all night long.
Close to station
Could be cleaner. The cleaning staff should do better
was no WI-FI bad rooms, no possibility to connect Phone to electricity switch !!
We wanted to be close to gare de nord, which it was. It was fine for a short stop and value for money at that central location.
ants on the floor
location, hot water
poor value for money, TV was not working, wifi had poor signal, the blanket was not clean, extra charge for breakfast, very tiny wc/bathroom, narrow beds. Overall: bad option even for one night stay! I would not recommend it.
The location and the Staff is so helpfull
Location was really good, near the shops and restaurants.
Towels were not so clean. The walls were so hollow you can hear everything and everyone.
Dirty Noisy Wifi not working
Close to Metro, RER. High Speed Wi-Fi Internet
Pictures of rooms are not as actual as shown, dirty walls, well worn furniture, bathroom.
The room I was initially given was too small. Wifi was not working, I was meant to stay 4 nights but had to change to another hotel after 2 nights.
Non co-operative Staff
very handy to the shops, restaurants, Gard De nord, Has window side with street views,
Very small bathroom-toilet-shower,
near to the train station good for last day stay of the trip
the beds are not clean enough
Good Wifi. Close to train station. And the day that I left.
Poor quality fittings, broken floor tiles.overuse of scilicon in bathroom.no sink or bath plugs.dark and dingy with view of a wall from window.Tiny lift and strong smell of cigarette smoke. Only one plug point in room. Would not want to eat a breakfast as there only seems to be one person working in the whole place. Surrounding area is full of groups of guys hustling on street corners.not worth the money i paid which wasn,t cheap.Would never dream of staying here again and do not recommend this place...needs a canister dropped on it.Lesson learned always view your room first before handing over the cash.don,t know how this place is still in business. Bates Motel meets Rising Damp. Book an Ibis at least there generic and a decent standard.
Location is accessible to food and train station. An elevator is available (which is a surprise for us...in a good way). Rooms are probably sufficient for light travellers, couples but not for family.
Our room was overlooking the road, with constant noises from cars, bikes, lorries, trucks passing by. Would have been a bit better if the hotel has installed at least a fan, so the windows can be shut at night. Unfortunately, no fan/aircond available, we had to leave the window open to let the cool air in. Shower handle broken - please fix it.
Near gare du nord
Wifi is not work
This hotel is actually okay it was clean and close to garde du Norde we were shattered from travelling all day and were just delighted to get a clean bed and a hot shower.the only problem is the shady characters loitering at reception and the front of house is very poor a little bit of thought and it would be an excellent hotel
People loitering at entrance who were not guests, untidy outside front of hotel
no information about overbooking although they had my email no help to find an alternative
Friendly staff Excellent Location (3 minutes from Gare du Nord)
No air conditioning slow and unreliable wifi no breakfast no iron table no iron
Everything there is poor
Clean, good wifi, good position (make sure you take the correct exit out of the train station)
Noise from the hallway woke us up at night. Bad smell in the room but it wasn't disturbing.
It was clean and close to public transport as well as some nice restaurants and bars
It was very busy and loud outside at all times. The rooms were quite small but for the price that you pay it's got everything you need.
Close to train station Manager was good in dealings
It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. It was not clean, poor quality furniture, lift cannot take more than 2 people at a time and poor housekeeping. I suggest removing such hotels from Booking.com site.
We walked from the Gare du Nord train station to this hotel in about four minutes, apprehensively entered the hotel entrance in this not so tidy suburb, some minutes before check-in, but the room was not ready yet. No problem, we stored, on advice of the receptionist at the desk, our bags in the lobby and went just around the corner for a bite to eat (2 cafés just outside the main entrance). The room, on the second floor, was really very clean, had fresh paintwork, a comfortable bed, desk, cupboard to hang clothes in, attractive new curtains and a matching chair. The bathroom, although a bit small, was also very clean. If I had to rate something negatively, it would be the hand shower, I rather have a fixed shower, but that is a personal choice. The free WiFi (in room) was mostly fast, but sometimes refreshing the link was necessary. A rest area with tables and chairs downstairs was handy as well. The hotel also has a lift. The staff members at the desk were helpful and very friendly. I note all negative reviews for this hotel are from two years ago. They do not apply to the hotel as it is now. Maybe the hotel has had a facelift and/or a change of staff as we had quite a comfortable stay with absolutely no complaints. The hotel was good for an overnight stay or two, maybe the area is not the best, but definitely the location of the hotel is very attractive to travellers, being so close to the Gare du Nord and a large bus station, plus heaps of taxis outside as well. For a budget hotel, it was excellent value. Not bad at all
