I left my cell phone at the hotel and i called several days later. They packaged it up and send it to me in the USA. What great people!!!
a good location and very attractive from the outside, the receptionist was very helpful and breakfast good
we had a room at the top of the hotel. The standard was awful - in particular we had a leaking roof which became apparent during an overnight storm - the reception closed at 10.00pm and we could not tell anyone about the leaking roof until the morning. Otherwise the room was like a hostel - not very clean, broken fittings, loose electric sockets - the list goes on.
Location. Comfortable bed.
Poor breakfast by French standards. Shower temperature very erratic - went from boiling to cold temperatures.
Location for City Centre
Noise from vehicles stopping at traffic lights outside with music playing while trying to sleep
the location is excellent, next to the castile and riverside.breakfast is GFF(good for France),and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.Bed was nice and clean.Lift works
The décor in the rooms is shabby,as usual the shower bracket was missing so had to have handheld(does no one in France know how to fix things to walls?) the price is high for the state of the hotel but it is what it is and I suppose-location is everything.
Excellent location. Very friendly, helpful staff. Large, comfortable twin room. Very good base for exploring the lovely old city on foot. WE enjoyed this hotel!
I imagine this was a fairly grand hotel in its heyday and it is somewhat faded now, although good quality refurbishment has taken place in reception and the breakfast room.
good position friendly English speaking staff clean rooms
no parking but plenty of underground parking near by
great location, close to public parking.
the room was a bit shabby, but sufficient for our one night stay in that gorgeous town. There was an art festival going on the night we arrived and it was fabulous.
Old style French hotel frequented by Salvador Dali and Antoine de St Exupery in its heyday, now faded its past splendours are faded but still quirkily comfortable and good value for its situation right on the edge of Perpignan old town.
Been here many times. Very friendly helpful staff. Unique rooms, every one is different, some better than others. This is not your typical bland chain hotel but has character. It is right in the centre of Perpignan beside the famous Castillet. Only 15 mins drive to the beach.
Very friendly staff, and good location
Charm character 2 openings with Juliet balconies in the room. View
Bit noisy at night traffic
Excellent location Staff Excellent and helpful
Hotel requires mayor refit. Passage ways very dark. Decoration requires major works.
Comfortable beds and got twin beds and bathtub as requested. Staff friendly and helpful. Staff offered use of an umbrella when it rained and were helpful about finding places round and about. Breakfast good value for money and plenty of choice. Brilliant location for sightseeing!!
Hotel dark in the corridors. Door to bathroom in need of maintenance (had a curtain across it which did not give a good impression) No restaurant or bar so had to go out in the rain to find something to eat late at night. .
The location was perfect, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful
The overall impression was seedy, run down but clean. This is a great site but needs money spent on it. We would still stay there because it was value for money and the location great.
Location! Hotel next to some lovely French restaurants and bars. Used as stopover during Spain to UK drive.
Very noisy so little sleep. Our room was 1st floor at front and all we could hear was traffic noise throughout night including delivery and bin lorries. Very poor acoustics at windows.
Dated but charming rooms to front of hotel with great location.
Location was excellent and the staff very helpful.good value for money for basic no frills hotel.
Everything was closed on Sunday
Location is brilliant & we had a really lovely lady on reception which was very helpful.
The hotel is very old so I understand some of the facilities will be dated but the bathroom (shower especially) need to be updated.
Great location,pleasant staff,no fuss
Although booked a quiet room it was right beside the cleaning staff's storeroom. Noise outside was unavoidable because of the location but very loud even on 3rd floor.
Great Location and very nice rooms. Will be back next year!
Excellent location, rooms a bit dated but clean, good sized en suite. Also had tea/coffee making facilities and small drinks fridge in the room, both unusual from our experience of French hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel has obviously had quite a lot of work done over the last few years but some hallways are in need of some re-furbishment.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. the hotel is in a great location next to the Castillet. We thought very charge for the buffet breakfast very reasonable.
My daughter wasn't impressed with the bed in her room which she said was lumpy, although the beds in the room that my wife and I had were comfortable.
The location was good with many restaurants the one we had the best steak I've had in a long time was the cafe de la paix and the staff were spot on.
The room was a comfort room which i would class as a below standard room yes it had aircon but very basic and the on suit was very poor and in need of renovation.
