good loaction fro walks into center of town. Easy access from the main road. Large easy, access parking garage. Excellent main dining room with wonderful staff.

Location, size of room, cleanliness

Doorway to bathroom was so low I kept hitting my head on the doorjamb. Also, breakfast is too expensive. All we wanted was a bowl of cereal but all they had was a big and expensive buffet breakfast.

closeness to old Beaune

Staff were friendly and helpful but the restaurant - this time - was a big let down and the airconditioner was inadequate for the size of the bedroom.

The restaurant service was not up to previous standards - it was very slow. The food was mediocre and took an inordinate amount of time to be served. However, after complaining, the Restaurant Manager removed the cost of the food from our bill.

great service and really comfortable beds. Lots of fluffy towels and clean modern bathroom.

The hotel is stunning and historically important. The location is very important to my business as an importer of Burgundy wines. The staff is among the most efficient and pleasant I have ever come across.

Very attentive and efficient staff - old fashioned levels of service. Excellent Restaurant ( and good value) . In Town. Has its own car park.

Can be slightly noisy at night ( rooms at the front of hotel) .Air-Con a bit tempremental sometimes.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to accommodate (us at our request) with a room at the back of the hotel for our return stay. Has secure locked garage (payable). Proximity to Beaune centre. Dinner good though quite expensive.

On ring road and therefore room was noisy. Air conditioning in first room was very noisy, and with window open difficult to sleep because of traffic noise. In second room (bigger, brighter and newly decorated) the air conditioning unit behind curtains, therefore either you had to sleep with curtains open or have ineffectual air conditioning. Therefore interrupted sleep on both occaisons - not to be recommended when facing a long drive the next day! Overpriced rooms and breakfast.

Std rooms are small.

Bed was a little hard

The staff providing highly personalized and efficient service in response to requests. I would like to take this opportunity to particularly complement Valerie of the front desk for her communication and computer skills.

Would suggest the addition of screens to windows and upgrading the toilet area (room #208).
