Close to the most famous monuments of the French capital, the Hôtel des Mathurins invites you to relax and will make your stay, whether it is for business or holiday, a real moment of pleasure. The hotel is located in a quiet street in the heart of Paris just 3 minutes walk from the fashionable boutiques on the faubourg Saint Honore and the famous department stores (Printemps and Galeries Lafayette) magnificent sites (Opera Garnier, La Madeleine, Chmaps Elysees) 29 non smoking rooms

We booked a superior room which was very spacious for Paris standard. Rooms are very well decorated and the hotel in general is very nice.

we got the largest room in th hotel, therefore we had god value. I do not think the other rooms would have faired as well.The washroom though was small and didn't have a shower but was new and clean.

No, nice, renovated and clean.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very positive. It is a contemporary – classic decorated hotel, with warm colors, quiet, bright and very clean rooms, nice breakfast (included in the room price) and helpful staff. The location is perfect – close to the opera and the big fashion stores, with great transportation facilities (metro, RER and bus to CDG airport) and many lunch and dinner options.

It is a minus that this beautiful hotel has short beds even for medium height persons (1,75cm)… The bathroom was comfortable and functional but the bedroom was not very spacious. Maybe two persons have to think about a superior room.

The fact that it was close to the opera and the madeleine meant that we
were in a good area with good transport facilities.

There was no restaurant or dining area in the hotel. Apart from the
reception staff who were friendly the rest of the staff were quite
snooty. The rooms were tiny compared to how they looked on the internet
and there were not internet facilities in your room you could use a
computer in the lobby. In short I would not be in a rush back.

goo location, room was comfortable, good breakfast

carelessness of reception staff, small room for 2 persons - it was difficult to arrange even our luggage
