Ideally located in the ancient Place Plumereau center, historic and cultural site, 2 minutes from the train station and from the convention center, the hotel l'Adresse welcomes you to its cozy and...
Score from 245 reviews Very good
The hotel is located close to the vineyards and the castles of the area. Come and enjoy the magnificent region while staying in this relaxing hotel.
Score from 219 reviews Good
This truly historic boutique hotel opened its doors in 1846. It is in the center of the city in the heart of the tourist and shopping area, and is near the Tours TGV train station.
Score from 573 reviews Very good
The room was clean and comfortable. Location was a cross between close to the train station and the Cathedral. Nothing fancy but the people were friendly and our room overlooking the courtyard was quiet.
The door to the hallway was thin and when people come home late or leave early you can hear them far easier than anything outside.
2 minutes off the motorway and 5 minutes walk from the cathedral.
The bathroom was tiny - I could not close the door when sitting on toilet! But it was clean. The parking, at 7€ a night was ridiculous. 5 cars jammed into a tiny space, so we had to wait for other guests to leave before we could. Free street parking right outside.
Location, Staff, Good shower
Poor quality carpet
We stopped here for one night en route from the south west of France to Caen. Navigation to the hotel from the autoroute is very straightforward. Very friendly and helpful at reception. The hotel is on a quiet street and parking was easy. It's a short walk past the cathedral and the muse des beaux arts to the river and to the old part of the city. Lots of choices for bars and restaurants.
Location, staff, breakfast, price
lovely little hotel within 5 minutes walk of Tours railway station. We had a small double which was fine for a night or two but would need bigger if staying for longer. Staff very helpful. Nice walk into toewn.
Location Excellent staff attitude
Needed tea/coffee making arrangement in the room. Small room, but for the money charged, adequate.
Arrived early and it was no problem at all, they quickly sorted things so we could get into our room and rest. Pleasant staff, loaned us an umbrella when there was a sudden downpour.
Would have been lovely to have a kettle and tea/ coffee making facilities.
very classy place in excellent location
room was fairly Spartan with street noise
Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room, whilst not large, was of reasonable size, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities. The location of the hotel was great....a short walk to the cathedral and local restaurants. On site parking was terrific. Our dog enjoyed his stay at the hotel too!!
As we arrived in Tours on the train, the hotel is a short walk from the station. The tourist information center is also a very short distance from the hotel. As we arrived in mid afternoon and had to depart at 11 the following morning, we had a very limited time to spend in Tours. The cathedral is but a very short walk from the hotel. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially in suggesting a restaurant for an evening meal. My wife and I consider the hotel to be typically French: small rooms, small elevator and or a spiral staircase to the upper floors, and the cellar for the morning French breakfast.Jerry
Location close to old city & choice of restaurants
Shower had to be hand held making showering very awkward. Noise from the street despite double glazing and having requested a quiet room.
Good choice for a weekend trip! Suggest to book the parking :-)
Nothing at all
We called to say we were arriving late at night and had a very simple check in procedure explained
Sensor lights are on too short a timer
Friendly staff. Very well equipped and well designed for 2 stars hotel.
Nothing to complain.
Room was very small, not adequate for even one person Shower holder was broken No soap
Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. Very clean. Great location with easy walk to centre of old city. Parking on site was ideal and secure.
Room was a little small.
Lovely hotel with its own individual charm, owner very friendly and helpful. Secure parking which is locked up at night, rooms are basic no frills but clean, bed was comfortable, slept a whole 8 hours no problem, nice breakfast and good value. Cathedral is a minutes walk away and the town just a few minutes walk with excellent restaurants everywhere selling fine food and good bars in the city also. Little apprehensive about the area when first approaching the hotel for the first time as I noticed a couple of local ladies on the corner but don't be put off by this, the area is safe even when I walked back from town at 2am. Will definitely use the hotel again, and Tours is more enjoyable than Paris, and cheaper.
Everything, the building, the location, the staff, the fact that you could get secure parking(must book ahead)I liked this place so much that I booked it again for the return journey.
The rooms were very warm, but that was more down to the weather.
Location, secure parking, beautiful building.
No air conditioning
