With our very limited French the owner even though she didn't have much English she managed to help us with a map and showed us where to have a look around town and where to go to eat and shop and always very pleasant. Most places we wanted to go to were in easy walking distance or we could catch a tram at the station which was only 10mins away. It was a lovey and quiet part of town.Bed and shower where good. Wifi good also.
Can not think of any thing we didn't like.
The owner was wonderful. Very accommodating, and helpful. It was very nice to have parking available -- although we didn't realize that before we arrived. The area was quite quiet which was great for sleeping. But close to the Cathedral and in a good location for walking tours.
Don't have a Computer to access Internet.
Good night sleep due to good mattress. Very nice apple crumble at breakfast.
The room was clean and comfortable. Location was a cross between close to the train station and the Cathedral. Nothing fancy but the people were friendly and our room overlooking the courtyard was quiet.
The door to the hallway was thin and when people come home late or leave early you can hear them far easier than anything outside.
2 minutes off the motorway and 5 minutes walk from the cathedral.
The bathroom was tiny - I could not close the door when sitting on toilet! But it was clean. The parking, at 7€ a night was ridiculous. 5 cars jammed into a tiny space, so we had to wait for other guests to leave before we could. Free street parking right outside.
Location, Staff, Good shower
Poor quality carpet
We stopped here for one night en route from the south west of France to Caen. Navigation to the hotel from the autoroute is very straightforward. Very friendly and helpful at reception. The hotel is on a quiet street and parking was easy. It's a short walk past the cathedral and the muse des beaux arts to the river and to the old part of the city. Lots of choices for bars and restaurants.
Location, staff, breakfast, price
lovely little hotel within 5 minutes walk of Tours railway station. We had a small double which was fine for a night or two but would need bigger if staying for longer. Staff very helpful. Nice walk into toewn.
Location Excellent staff attitude
Needed tea/coffee making arrangement in the room. Small room, but for the money charged, adequate.
Arrived early and it was no problem at all, they quickly sorted things so we could get into our room and rest. Pleasant staff, loaned us an umbrella when there was a sudden downpour.
Would have been lovely to have a kettle and tea/ coffee making facilities.
very classy place in excellent location
room was fairly Spartan with street noise
Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room, whilst not large, was of reasonable size, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities. The location of the hotel was great....a short walk to the cathedral and local restaurants. On site parking was terrific. Our dog enjoyed his stay at the hotel too!!
As we arrived in Tours on the train, the hotel is a short walk from the station. The tourist information center is also a very short distance from the hotel. As we arrived in mid afternoon and had to depart at 11 the following morning, we had a very limited time to spend in Tours. The cathedral is but a very short walk from the hotel. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially in suggesting a restaurant for an evening meal. My wife and I consider the hotel to be typically French: small rooms, small elevator and or a spiral staircase to the upper floors, and the cellar for the morning French breakfast.Jerry
Location close to old city & choice of restaurants
Shower had to be hand held making showering very awkward. Noise from the street despite double glazing and having requested a quiet room.
Good choice for a weekend trip! Suggest to book the parking :-)
Nothing at all
We called to say we were arriving late at night and had a very simple check in procedure explained
Sensor lights are on too short a timer
