We choose this hotel because it had the best recommendations for location within our price range, but we did not expect it would be really this perfect!!! In front of the hotel you have bus 66 which goes every 7-20(sunday evening) mins and takes you to Lazare Railway station or Opera within 10 mins!!!! The neighborhood is nice and safe, close to Montmartre and Champs Elysees and Louvre - we would mostly forgo the bus and walk instead to all of these places through nice Parisian streets! The room is small, but comfy, cleaned daily, there is a hairdryer in the room, our windows were to the back street and it was absolutely quiet, but the front street is also a quiet one. It is an old hotel, but every street cafe in Paris is old, it's Paris - it's charming there ;) What we also liked is that there were no students at the hotel, despite it being a budget one, so everything was great! Whenever we will come to Paris we will be staying here!

It was clean, and the price was ok. Location close to Rome metro station. It is of a walking distance to Sacre Coeur and Place Pigalle. Rooms looked a bit small.

The room was much different/worse and smaller than in the picture given on Booking.com. Breakfast was v. poor, even if continental breakfast. One small piece of butter and bad quality jam was given. Orange juice was also beyond quality.

Free Wi-Fi in our room, clean and fresh room, The stuff really cares. Each time in Paris we choose this hotel. 15-20 min of walking to the main places of interest. No water-dispenser.

The hotel was close to Sacre Couer which I hadn't had time to visit before when I visited Paris. I thought the young male receptionist was very good, The older man who was at the desk on a weekend was a bit too much like PePe La Phew for my liking. Also I was looking for a hotel close to central Paris because I was catching a flight the next day. This one was listed as near the Arc de Triomphe. It was not and even some cab drivers had a difficult time trying to find where it was at. I told the taxi driver I could find it on my own after he was stuck in traffic for fifteen minutes to take me to a close museum. The bill was 15 euro for 10 blocks. I went to the metro station and got directions from the information center to find the hotel. It wasn't close-especially when you are traveling with all your luggage on the Parisian streets.

Excellent location very close to both Rome and Place de Clichy metro stations. Lovely market street a few blocks west and two nice restaurants in the plaza across the road from the hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a fairly large, modern ensuite bathroom. The bed had a nice, firm, foam mattress. The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator is quite small. This isn't a problem, it just means if you have large luggage you'll have to use it one at a time. The walls are quite thin and we could clearly hear people talking in the morning, This didn't bother us, as everyone was very quiet at night. We were told by the day staff to smoke in the courtyard on the main floor, but the night staff seemed a tad annoyed and told us to smoke out the window instead. Again, not a problem-- we were just a bit confused as the hotel said the room was strictly non-smoking.

The hotel was clean and the staff helpful and welcoming. It was a good budget hotel in Paris. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, with the exception of a heavy waterproof protector on the mattress which made an otherwise comfortable bed very uncomfortable and hot. I would hate to sleep on this during a hot Paris summer.

Everything (the room, the beds, the bathroom) is quite small at the hotel, but it was adequate and all I expected for this price. The hotel was quiet, and wifi was free and excellent, even in the rooms. No power plugs at the head of the bed; makes it a bit hard for those of us who want to charge their phones overnight while still knowing the time.

Little but quite a cozy place for visitors to stay. Very quiet. The staffs are really nice and helpful. The decorations in the small room looks classic and traditional, though the size of the room is pretty small. Some very good resturants near the hotel. Buying everyday stuffs is not a problem. It took us some time to find the hotel from the metro station. Kind of hard to find. A little bit expensive.

We have stayed here many times and choose it for it's excellent location for Monmartre in one direction and L'Etoile in the other with 2 metro stations and numerous bus stops too. Also there are numerous restaurants nearby and the larger shops of Gallerie Lafayette and Printemps are only a bus ride away. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the rooms although not large, well equipped and clean. There is nothing in particular we dislike but maybe we were disappointed to now find breakfast is not included in the room price.

Located very close to two subway stations; variety of bars/ restaurants around; personnel speaks mostly understandable English; relatively quiet in rooms - no traffic/ neighbor noise. Room extremely small for two people (not more than 8 sq.m.); only French channels on TV; scarce French breakfast (croissant + coffee), especially for 6EUR/ person - you are better off eating elsewhere or getting your snack from a supermarket nearby.

the hotel is affordable and reccommended for short stays. Even for one person it was found that the room is very small. The rooms are clean and problems are attended to promptly. However, it the rooms need some rennovation and it is also recommended that the rooms be equipped with a kettle in order to allow guests to make some coffee or tea. The hotel provides sufficient information and brochures on Paris. I will recommend the hotel to peole who travel on a budget, but still want the comfort of aclean room and bathroom facilities. One cannot use the escalator to access the one wing of the hotel and the staircs are very narrow and it is very dark in the passage. This could be very difficult for older people and dangerous as well. Some of the visitors in the hotel were very noisy and it was very disturbing.
