The rooms are nice painted in fresh colors. Eventhough the bed was small we had good night. This is a small but very nice and comfortable hotel. metro station is nearby and public parking across the street. (underground).
Breakfast is poor and expensive (but guess that is all over Paris)
Will definitely be returning to this hotel.
The rooms were small but had a wonderful feel. There was a small lift and access was good. Staff were friendly and spoke English well. The Wi-Fi worked well at all times. Very close to the metro station.
The rooms are very small so make sure it is a close friend you are sharing with, and not for more than a night or two. The view from the room was a bit yuck at the rear of the building but the front rooms would have been ok.
The location is good. It is convenient to tabke subway. The staffs of the hotel are friendly and helpful.
The insulation for the noise between rooms is not good. The voice from other rooms affected me a lot.
The staff there are so warm and considerable. The location is very good, only 3 mins to the metro. Nearby there's a Asian food restaurant and fruit market, which are so convenient.
The hotel location is great. Room is well decorated and very clean. The receptions are friendly and approachable whenever I need help. I will definitely stay in this hotel again next time I went to Paris.
Safety box should be properly mounted to ensure better security.
The hotel's interior decoration was beautiful. The staff were very nice too.
The wifi does not work so well on the 4th floor. We were at the end of the corridor so maybe that was why. For the price of the room we paid, breakfast was included but it was only 1 croissant and 1 bread per person. More could've been given.
Bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good.
Small bathroom and not much privacy (toilet door is a glass one and you cannot lock it. Noise from other guests (doors slamming).
I arranged booking for my chinese colleague. On the departure day, the reception staff arranged taxi pick up for him in the morning from the hotel to the gare de Lyon. He was asked 40 euros : the driver was a friend of the reception staff, my colleague trusted hotel staff and got robbed (should not have exceed 15 euros...).
Nice special interieur. Very nice people. Clean place and good comfortabel beds. Close to metro.
No breakfast at 7 o'clock as promised. (We payed for it and should leave early in the morning. Little space in toilet and open windows? Oohh we get so shy :-)
Location, easy access to the rest of the city. Good staff, superb value for a short-term stay in Paris
Place. Location. Resturants nearby.
Last minute. Arrived late at hotel. They called a cab the cab did not use a meter. The fare should have been 4-5 Euros, Train 5 blocks from hotel. I was charged 10 Euros but the idea that they called a friend who took me to the station and he said they had told him I agreed to pay 10 Euros an got very absive when I questioned him. A sad thing for such a great stay to put a rating at risk for a couple of Euros is dumb to say the least. It was not the money I object to it was the attitude. It was like France in the 50's when they were really anti american and left a bad taste. But the hotel was fine.
Very small and basic hotel, yet absolutely lovely; perfect for those who prefer design, atmosphere and quality over comfort and extra services; loved the furniture and decoration (much love for details); rooms were light and inviting; staff was very friendly and helpful; breakfast was great (little choice, but very high quality); definitely recommend it for short stays; metro close by
room was very small, little space for luggage (but we had the smallest category); bathroom had windows to the room (room should only be shared if you don't mind seeing the other person in the bathroom); thin walls (easy to hear neighbors or cleaning staff)
Newly renovated, nice area not far from gare du Nord
The rooms are, just like everywhere else in Paris, very small.
The location was great, the air-condition facilities were essential and the pleasant room was super value.
cute but very small room. but with great view.
This is the ideal Paris hotel which is near the Gare du Nord,Metro stations and shops. The hotel deco has a contemporary style and you feel like just living in Paris. I loved it!
Wonderful Staff, great small hotel. Perfect for solo travelers. Would not recommend for people traveling with Children. I look forward to staying there again.
Cute place Strong wifi that worked Great location Comfortable room Beautiful design
Lack of facilities - ie no gym, although not expected in a boutique-type place like this Everything else was great!
Ambience, art, eclectic, location to Gare du Nord
Wifi password didn't work, we even asked twice. One towel for two of us. Wake up call came an hour early.
Nice People, good breakfast and a very beautiful Hotel...with Aesop Produkts at the Bathroom.. i am in love with this Place!!!
Nice new stylish hotel in a neighborhood that has dramatically gotten better. Decor was quite nice and uncommon. Bed was quite comfortable and room, even though on the street side, was quiet enough to sleep. Nice amenities of soap and shampoo that weren't typical but still of high quality. Bar had some high quality spirits that were also uncommon.
Wifi was spotty and slow at times.
independent, different design, aesop products, gorgeous old building
indifference of receptionist, small rooms, not as pristine as looks in photos
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us on a couple of occasions. The room was very comfortable and the location was perfect. It's very close to two metro stations and the area has many cafes and places to eat. There's a supermarket right beside the hotel, and a lovely park right in front of the hotel.
It's a boutique hotel so I understand some aspects of the design, but the bathroom baffled me. There was a glass window on the bathroom door right opposite the toilet (so no privacy) and the shower (a hand-held one that made washing quite difficult) had no shower curtain which resulted in wet floors each night. There was also no sign to hang on the door for 'do no disturb'. I found this strange.
It's decor and location are good.
The front desk lady gave us incorrect info about how to get to the airport - she told us to go from Gare de Lyon rather than Gare du Nord, and how long it would take to walk to Gare du Nord. We made it anyway based on our own research.
