Within easy walking distance of the town and as we were travelling on a motorcycle, the secure parking was the main reason we chose this hotel. The breakfast was adequate. That is the end of anything positive to say about this dreadful place.
Upon arrival we were met by the most unpleasant receptionist I have ever met. I can only assume she was the owner or she would have been dismissed. We had to pay in full as soon as we walked through the door and before we were able to see our room. I now understand why!!. Whole room dirty and in poor and outdated state of decoration. Sink and cistern top had large badly repaired cracks. No sink plug just some disgusting limescale encrusted lattice cover and similarly limescale encrusted shower head. Toilet filthy with brown scale. Electric plug half out of the wall. Couldn't wait to leave!!!
The ? Manager or Receptionist was very helpful and did what she could to help/resolve problems.
Sink in bathroom cracked. Water seeping onto the bathroom floor-not from the sink caused by another problem. Bed collapsed the first night. The manager put it back together but it collapsed again the second night. Dangerous and meant we had a very disturbed night.
Charming ,older style hotel, rich in history and very convenient location to all amenities
Landlady could smile a little more
Nice hotel with a well used link to the history of the building with the former owner and her famous past. The opera music on in the background was a bit ott at breakfast though.
Fantastic central location and very good breakfast.
We could have done with an electric fan in the room as it was too hot in there for the 3 of us.
The history of the hotel was interesting and the information in the room was welcome.
The bed and room was very small for two people. The decoration was run down. We felt it was not value for money, there was no air conditioning and the room was very hot. A kettle for making tea or coffee would have been welcome
ok location for central millau. Very old, characterful. in keeping decor list of history in the building
couldnt get in or check in till 17.30. Poor quality room fittings. Stained carpets, very basic, not comfortable in very hot weather as no aircon and windows and shutters need to be closed. Not very friendly staff. Very basic breakfast. Probably all this reflected in price. Pretty courtyard to sit out in but full of weeds, which was a shame.
Our second visit to this hotel. Great smallish room in a small courtyard. Very friendly host. A short walk into the charming working town with some great restaurants. Try Jeu de Paume for great food, reasonable prices and great staff.
wifi a little difficult in the room but ok in the courtyard and reception area.
It's central location and very comfortable beds.
The carnival masks decorating the walls were a bit of a shock in the middle of the night . . .
Position.....close to centre
Close to centre of not very much......quite unfriendly owner, was very abrupt, almost rude, breakfast was scarce....small piece of bread and a croissant.parking was an extra ten euros.....in future I would go to campanile, and Millau was very disappointing.
