Hôtel Faidherbe  

Location was first class. the quality of accommodation and ambience was first-rate. Excellent room with controllable central heating that was important for a winter-time break.Breakfast was first-rate and served in pleasdant surroundings.

Friendly staff. Good central location for seeing the town and for restaurants and shops. Quirky decore - we had the zebra room with zebra print furnishings and lovely wildlife photos. Also lucky to get a larger triple room having only booked a double.

A bit noisy at night as our room overlooked the main street.

The staff were fantastic. Very helpful and flexible.

Good location to centre of Boulogne. Friendly staff, large clean room. Secure underground parking, close to hotel, was worth the extra cost.

The bed mattress was quite hard. I would suggest replacing the toilet seat (Room 100), due to the fact that the laminate coating had exposed the chipboard wood, which was not very hygenic.

The window blind did not work. We asked on two mornings for it to be loosened, but nothing was done. The room needed dusting, but the chambermaid did not do so and must have done little more than change towels and pull up the sheet.

Exceptional customer service language was sometimes a barrier - I haven't spoken french for sometime and am a little rusty but we managed . Breakfast traditional continental with local cheese and jam and gorgeous.Rooms clean bathroom small but usable .

The price for the room was far too high for the quality of the room - the price for breakfast was ridiculous - overall, the price for our one night stay was 96 Euros - the room was very shabby and dated - there was no lock or ventilation in the bathroom and the shower head was not connected and had to be hand held - this was the cheapest hotel I could find but felt that it was not value for money

It was acceptable fro the price and centrally located.

There was a little reluctance to allow us to use the secure parking despite the fact we had arranged it on the phone. We managed to sort it out.

L'acceuil, proximité du centre ville, propreté.

Le bruit : les fenêtres très mal insonorisées laissent passer les bruits de la circulation le jour et les cris des habitués du bar tout proche la nuit. C'est bien dommage car ce petit hôtel est sympathique et fort bien situé.

De gunstige ligging tussen het water en de hoge stad. De kleurrijke inrichting van de ontbijtruimte en ontvangst

Zeer eenvoudig ontbijt en meestal een zeer lange wachttijd vooraleer het water warm werd in de douche

Idéalement situé au centre de Boulogne. Wifi à disposition même s'il était dur à accrocher de ma chambre.

La décoration mériterait une retouche. L’hôtel n'accepte plus l'AmEx malgré l'info sur booking.

Sa situation Geographique,pour un court séjour

Accueil impersonnel:, nous avions réservé un parking et nous avons pu en disposer en fin de journée car la réception était fermée. Les wc étaient très bruyants.
