Hôtel Floritel  

Chose based on price alone as we were on a tight budget (for family of 4, stop over returning from South West France as the journey is too long for a single day). Far outclassed hotels in similar price ranges we've used. Tidy rooms, great shower, clean, friendly staff. It's a small hotel and has great views over the valley. Breakfast was excellent. We may even alter our travel times next year to use this hotel on the way to the south of france (it's very good)

Rooms show signs of wear/age, although to put that in context they were still in better condition and far more pleasant and spacious than a recently refurbished HotelFormula1 we also used this holiday (so don't be put off, this is a nice hotel)

Small hotel with a very friendly owner. Clean bedding and towels. Room opens straight onto grassy area - perfect for children to play after a long journey. A great place for an overnight stop with rooms for 4 (children have beds on mezanine floor). McDonalds 5 minutes away and breakfast available at the hotel. We often use the Floritel for an overnight stop en route to our holiday destination.

Rooms are basic and in need of some tlc in places.

Friendly owner, good location for ferry / tunnel connections. Good value for money.

Once you find it, the location is great. Open fields with lots of space for children to let off steam. Plus grazing donkeys in the next field. The room furnishings are a bit basic but the place was perfectly clean with fresh towels and a lovely powerful shower. The children loved being on a mezzanine floor above us. The fridge in the room was a bonus. There is a huge supermarket 5 mins away for stocking up, or breakfast if you don't want the hotel's offering.

Check in times are limited. We arrived at 4pm and had to wait until well after 5pm before we could check in and get into the room. A bit of an issue after a 6 hour drive!

The manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and great for our stopover night. Breakfast was adequate. The bread and croissants were really fresh and the manager served us himself. He was jovial and really friendly and helpful.

Only downside was pin number given when we booked was not the right one for the gate when we arrived. No way to get in without it. So just make sure you have a phone with you as you may need to phone on arrival for the gate code to get in!!!! No way to contact hotel from the gate itself so make sure you have booking confirmation paperwork or hotel telephone number handy.

Looked a bit 'scruffy'

Comfortable but basic. Good space, nice location. we felt safe and secure, especially parking with a loaded car. Ideal as a stop-over with family friendly restaurants just a short drive away.

No kettle in the apartment; extra pillows would have been appreciated.

Hotel au calme, on est pas réveillé par le claquement de porte des autres chambres, accueil simple mais très simpathique.

Sans hésitation, la situation géographique, en pleine campagne, sur une colline.

Je crains avoir payé le prix d'une "chambre double supérieure" pour une "chambre double standard" et personne ne s'est senti obligé de me le faire savoir... Je reconnais cependant que les torts sont partagés, la vigilance du client devant être toujours de mise sur ce point.

Hotel calme en pleine campagne,sécurisé par une grille avec un digicode.Personnel très acceuillant et serviable.Le petit déjeuner copieux pour 5 euros.
