La Grande Bastide Hotel is an old 18th century country house which has been turned into a beautiful hotel. It is set in a quiet, green area with a panoramic view of Saint-Paul de Vence. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and features 14 bedrooms including 3 Duplex Suites. The Provencal-style bedrooms are decorated in soft pastel shades and offer lovely views of the surrounding area. Some rooms have a Jacuzzi and jet shower and all rooms have private bathrooms, satellite TV and direct phone. There are 2 terraces, overlooking the swimming pool with wonderful views of Saint-Paul de Vence, where breakfast and light snacks can be enjoyed. The spacious pool house, tastefully equipped with sofas in front of an open fire, is an excellent spot for an evening aperitif. Hotel Rooms: 14

The second time we stayed at La Grande Bastide. It was again a very nice experience and will be back definitely. A very warm welcome, a superb room (no. 1) with a fantastic view to old St. Paul and very helpful and friendly staff did make our stay unforgettable. Roger Kiburz

It is a great place to stay. I have to say that everything was amazing. The Receptionists are really prepared and very friendly. The Room was really big and quiet. The Swimming-pool has the right temperature and is a really peaceful place. You are really quick in Saint-Paul. (If you do not want to walk, the hotel provides a "shuttle service". If you need a relaxing holiday break, this is the right place for you.

The location is exellent, just in front of the town of St.Paul de Vence, with wonderful view of the landscape both from the garden and the rooms Even if the hotel is ranked as a 4* it can be considered a good 3*; for this reason the price is too high for the overall service. The breakfast too is of a standard level even if its cost is 19€

It is a beautiful, classy little hotel with an awesome view of St. Paul de Vence. No dining, but there is a top notch restaurant across the street. The hotel serves cocktails in the lovely common area with its awesome view, but if anything it is too quiet

Small and intimate hotel with attentive staff who went out of their way to be accommodating. Hotel was kinda expensive for what you get, ie breakfast was modest yet very expensive and they charge extra for small items (ie a coke) that may not have been normally served.

The view of St Paul is to die for - this was the most expensive accommodation of a 4 week trip and although the room was nice enough, there were issues with leaky showers, and two single beds made up as singles and shoved together instead of the more common arrangement of making them up as one bed, or indeed (hello Europe!!!) actually having one queen or king size bed. We found the room a bit "clunky" - but probably this was more due to a difference in design tastes than any other reason. Most reviews I've read seemed to like it. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. As mentioned above.

The tranquility and beauty of the place and surroundings. A good place to rekindle a dying flame, start a new one or simply relax. The breafast at €19 per person left a lot to be desired. Second grade fresh fruit and tinned/canned fruits. Juices not fresh and clearly out of a box. €19??? For what?

Stunning, beautiful sights, lovely pool very picturesque. Bit of a walk to town although the hotel had complementry cool little car to bring you there. Pricy 200 euro for one night

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views were excellent . The hotel had the feel of a country house hotel, itwas well located for St Paul de Vence , Vence and Tourrettes-Sur-Loup. The room was a little small and fairly basic

E' molto bello, sei a un passo da NIZZa ma completamente immerso in atmosfera di lusso provenzale,buon confort e camera avvolgente in senso positivo In realta' non ci sarebbe nulla di negativo per quanto riguarda l'hotel, l'unica cosa da mettere in conto e' che l'importo della stanza viene prelevato prima dell'arrivo all'hotel, cosa che noi italiani siamo un po' meno abituati

Molto gradevole,personale molto gentile. Very nice hotel,clean, well kept and enjoyable I would also add romantic. Staff was very kind and pleasing. Letto non molto confortevole e datato a mio parere!! Bedding a little aged in my opinion but ok.
