Hôtel La Solitude  

The facility was more than adequate. The staff was efficient, nice gift shop and the proximity to the grotto.

The staff at reception were genuinely interested in the quality of our stay and wellbeing. The hotel manager went out of his way to ensure that we were well cared for. The pool area was small but well appointed. Cleanliness was second to none. Add this to the proximity to Lourdes' shrine precinct and the central location makes "La Solitude" an excellent choice among the City's many hotel options.

Actually, Hotel La Solitude was closed and we were switched to Grand Hotel Gallia & Londres by the Hotel itself. This hotel was very nice, as was the staff. We extended our stay an extra day without any issue. Hotel La Solitude is just a few steps away from Hotel Gallia and both are in the perfect location for anything you wish to do in Lourdes. I would absolutely recommend either of these hotels. Our room was a bit small; however, we are from the United States and we are accustomed to larger rooms.

The location is excellent. Walking distance to Lourdes Shrine. As it is on a off lane you will not get disturbed by noice or other traffic

Pitty, there were no towels supports for the shower, bidet and lavabo.

Proximity to Lourdes Grotto

Initial room in seperate building smelly & damp with broken furniture . Second room had broken wall lamp. No bath (but had shower), no tea making facilities. Swimming Pool about size of a postage stamp. Would not recommend

Entrance to underground car park extremely tight and not suitable for large/long vehicles.

I liked its close oroximity to the Shrine of Lourdes and the Acuielle where I was helping

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a central location and at the side of the river, so close that the bar overlooked it and you could sit and have a meal and drink in the open air at the riverside. The rooms were clean but a little on the small side. There was some noise at night but with the windows closed and the air conditioning on, this was fine.

The room was a very comfortable size and we had a great view from our balcony! The buffet breakfast was pretty good (but the oatmeal was great!). Also, the room –and the hotel in general– was very clean. The staff was very helpful.

Sometimes it felt as if the front desk was a bit understaffed for the amount of people they had at the hotel. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was; it would have been nice for it to have been included in the price.

This was a great hotel positioned in the heart of Lourdes, just a 5 minute walk to the shrines. We had a balcony room at the rear of the hotel with stunning views of the river, the fort and part of the procession route.

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, as 10 euros a time was a little expensive.

Hotel seemed a bit tired and outdated. Their parking was full and probably too small to get our mid size car in and out of anyways.
