Very nice hotel! Location,staff, restourant- everything was very well!

Such an elegant, charming little hotel, decorated in old world style. Views of Chateau d'Amboise were spectacular. The staff were excellent, and the restaraunt was phenomenal. Just around the corner from everyplace you want to be in Amboise (shops, dining, the Chateau, the Close Luce). Highly recommended.

It was wonderful, paticularly the dining room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great.

Obviously, It would have been better if our room had not been up 2 narrow staircases with no elevator. However, I knew I was getting the cheapest type of room, so something like that is to be expected.

The town it was in, Amboise, was right on the Loire River. The town was old, had a beautiful castle, great sidewalk cafes and french ambiance. The hotel had a beautiful bar area, gourmet restaurant, swimming pool and gardens. The food was excellent.The people were friendly and helpful. We would return, without a doubt!!

Very appealing appearance. Top class dining. Close to several chateaux. The glorious Loire at the front door.

We stayed in a hot attic room with no real view ;the ceiling was very low and awkwardly placed beams ; I hit my head on a couple of occasions during the night . Luggage had to be carried up 2/3 flights of stairs as no lift .

Good location, near the centre of the town so you could park and leave the car while you explored. Overlooks the river or the caves at the rear. Nice pool and facilities. Room was okay and had a form of air conditioning which made it comfortable. Some of the furnishings are a bit worn but it doesn't detract too much from the general ambience.

I thought the food in the main restaurant was expensive And so was the breakfast. We only ate one meal at the hotel and I was disappointed with it.

Great quality restaurant with beautiful food at dinner. Also it is a lovely old but well presented building. Very nice helpful friendly staff.

Generally, we found the hotel matched our expectations in terms of a comfortable visit of three days duration. There was an air of quality in staffing and in particular the splendid dining: the meals were first class and served beautifully. We had a relatively small, comfortable, but slightly run down, room in an adjoining house to the main residence. It overlooked the garden, but also the chimneys of the boiler house, which was a disappointment. Overall, however, it was an enjoyable experience in a good location .

Friendly, comfortable, location good, pleasant gardens, interesting sculptures, charm.

Missing aircon control.

Stylish building and room. Decent breakfast, at a price. Helpful reception staff. Location by Loire and Chateau.

Tiny 'double' bed, too small for 2. expensive room. Too many noisy americans and australians.

Localizacao , atendimento , excelente , muito facil de locomover bem no centro de Amboise, precisa se pensar em custo beneficio para um casal maduro como nos e muito bom provavelmente familia ja ira ficar um pouco caro. Qualidade comida excelente + um pouco caro se usar o cardapio gourmet.

Romatismo e a qualidade do cafe d manha ate o jantar tb um pouco caro.

la chambres est spacieuse mais la salle de bain est trop petite et pas pratique du tout
