100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Thw history, food, position were unsurpassable, and the staff charming and helpful. Expensive but worth it as a treat. Decor was overpoweringly floral! |

The setting on the 'main road' worried us slightly - but to no avail. The road is quiet as is Amboise (in June anyway). The dining room / kitchen is very formal and resembled an old people's home whilst we were there (off peak admittedly). The chef has just lost his Michelin rating - but the foor was good if not superb. The wine list was ludicrously expensive - even for communal garden local Loire wines. It spoiled the evening being so expensive. This is not a Regional issue; the following night we ate out in the the best restaurant in Amboise and had their house wine - so cheap and drinkable we had two bottles! |

Nice riverside view of the Loire river. Walking distance to town centre and Chateau Amboise. Very central - can visit the vineyards nearby. Hotel is very private with own parking, garden, swimming pool, etc. The BEST thing about this hotel is the food - MY GOSH! It was excellent. You must close your windows as its near the river. In Spring and Summer, millions of insects may invade your room if you leave it open. |

The staff was very helpful and kind. The room and the bath were large and good value. Very pretty facilities and lovely setting. I would stay there again. The restaurant was extremely expensive and not worth the cost. Very few inexpensive selctions or options. Food was good, and the staff was attentive though.Also, someone had smoked in the room, especially the bathroom and it took a long time to go away. |

Lo que más me ha gustado es el ambiente del hotel, un hotel en el que se podía descansar, además de relajarte. También su ubicación que es muy buena para realizar una ruta completa por los castillos del Loira. No me ha gustado el desayuno. Considero que lo que te ofrecían era de calidad pero no con suficiente variedad. |

Su ubicación para hacer excursiones a los alrededores .El restaurante con un buen servicio ,cocina y bonita vista . Su limpieza ,sobretodo en los cristales del comedor que parecían un parque temático de arañas y telarañas.Subir y bajar las maletas de un segundo piso sin ascensor,ni personal de ayuda para hacerlo ,en un hotel que en principio se supone de cuatro estrellas y que no deja de ser una habitación de hotel inferior en edificio anexo en la parte posterior |

Bonne situation près du chateau d'Amboise. Belle vue sur la Loire. Rapport qualité prix très mauvais. Très cher pour la qualité de la chambre. Salle de bain absolument pas au niveau d'un 4 étoiles : lavabo et meubles basiques, joints à refaire, odeur d'humidité... Service approximatif : on nous installe la table la plus au fond du restaurant sans la vue sur la Loire alors que nous prenons soin de réserver la veille de notre diner |
