We were travelling knackerd from 3 days in Disney with our two kids aged 6 and 13.What we wanted was to relax a bit in a typical Parisien hotel near St Germain and the Latin Quater. We picked the hotel because of is location and the fact it had family rooms. We have done this before and you generally have to take pot luck Must admit we were pleasently suprised the hotel is right next to all sorts of bars and restaurants and only a short walk from the metro. The room was quite spacious and quaint we had room 06 its on the ground floor and you have your own sort of indoor garden? The staff are very polite and helpfull would definately stay again. The only thing I could say against it is that it doesnt have its own bar. There are many close by and you have a stocked minibar but sometimes its nice to sit in a quiet lounge a have a drink after a days sightseeing

Frederic Clota is a wonderful host and source of information about the region. He gave us detailed itinerary of not-to- miss towns as well as local restaurants, making our trip even more enjoyable. And the continental breakfast buffet was superbe and included in the room price. Our room was not glamorous, but certainly comfortable for the time spent in it. The small garden area behind the hotel is a quiet respite from the busy city of Avignon. We would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I, and our teenage twins, all loved Left Bank. The rooms are small but nicely decorated and feel very Parisian. The location is absolutely unrivaled if you want to feel the pulse of the city and have lots to do every time you walk out the door of you hotel. My main purpose was to find a hotel that give the family a real taste of Paris and this one definitely does. I would, without question, book here again. Two words of caution: the double beds are quite small for tall people (we'd get the twin room next time) and the activity and noise from the street (if you like the windows open at night) is considerable. We actually loved being on the street and just closed the window when we wanted silence. But you could also ask for a room off the street.

I really liked the location of Left Bank. Centrally located, near Pont Neuf and Notre Dame was a real plus. I found the room to be very quiet (thanks to double-paned windows) in spite of a very busy street scene two floors below. I thought the breakfast was very nice and I like how often the choices were replenished. My only issue came up when using the hotel computer to confirm my airline reservations. I am American and it was not an american-style keyboard. The front-desk attendant did not seem to understand what my problem was but eventually helped in getting me logged in.

We liked Paris so much. The location was excellent for visiting all the attractions that we wanted. It was fun being there over May 1 and being with all the local people as well during their holiday. It was cooler than we expected but we also had some beautiful weather. We had three Viator tours which were excellent. The Eiffel Tower skip the line group tour was our favorite. We also really enjoyed seeing it "on the hour" at 11 pm Friday when the sparklers would come on. We actually walked from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower by the Seine River. It was safe and quite lively but a long walk. The hotel rooms were small but we expected that. We had trouble with our international converters but one of the desk clerks helped by loaning his. The hotel service staff were all kind. We really wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the boat on the Seine. The metro was confusing so we stuck with the taxi cabs. We missed a bike tour because a lady desk clerk wouldn't call a taxi 45 minutes ahead. We tried to fine one on our own for over an hour but we were not able to find one in time. That was the only bad experience. Viator booked us on a later tour to bike at Giverny so it wasn't so costly an error after all and ended up being an adventure. The other male desk clerks would book the taxi ahead of time. You really need someone who doesn't mind giving information, but I'm sure customers can be a bother at times.

The location is excellent and the breakfast is good. The room was extremely small and should not be considered a room for 2 adults and one child. With two beds in the room there was almost no place for the luggage.

The location is fantastic and the room was clean and up to date. You can purchase your museum pass or other tours right at the front desk and they are very friendly and helpful. The front desk team is friendly and helpful but remember they are not travel agents, this is a small hotel. If you are new to the city, do some research and be sure attractions are open on the days you are going. We had no troubles but other guests did.

Perfect location in the 6th Arrondissement (which is by far the best area of Paris to stay in). Hotel was very nice, we didn't get the hotel breakfast, in the lobby however we did get it in the room and was very typical and good. Value for the hotel was great. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very clean.

The location was perfect in Saint German, just a few steps away of the metro station Odeon, nice Restaurants and Cafes and very close to some attractions like Notre Damme and Luxemburg Palace. Nice decoration with french style, apparently it has been remodeled not so long ago. Breakfast ok, simple but good. Staff helpfull enought. The standart room was extremmely small, bathroom was ok, but the room should be better. Rates could be more reasenable.

The location was perfect being in the Saint Germain district and an easy walk to the Latin district. Also very close to the Metro Odean station. Staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Room was typical european (I.E., small, quaint with character, etc.), yet comfortable. Access to internet WiFi and hotel computer was essential. Breakfast should be included in the price of the room.

Fascinating decor, outstanding service, great location, wonderful staff, fabulous breakfast, very good value. Room was a bit cold and could not increase heat. Having to insert the key card to get the lights to turn on was awkward and inconvenient.

The location was excellent. It is near many interesting shops and wonderful places to dine. It is walking distance to The Latin Quarter, the wonderful booths along the Seine, Notre Dame, the beautiful neighborhood if Isle St Louis and of course , all of the magnificant stores in St Germain. It is also just around the corner from the Odeon Metro stop. You really can't beat the location! The hotel was clean and we were very happy with the fact that it was quiet. The bathrooms are well appointed and modern.. This hotel is air conditioned which is a plus. We appreciated that our rooms had safes The rooms are quite small and the desk staff is helpful but sarcastic and arrogant.

This was our first trip to Paris. We are from the USA. The Left Bank Hotel in St Germain is in a great location. It is in close walking distance to many sites such as The Catherdral of Notre Dame and The Louvre. The area near the hotel is full of restaurants and cafe's. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff was pleasant and very helpfull. The hotel staff spoke English which was a great plus. We planed a few trips through the hotel and all went well. The only drawback was that it would have been nice if there was a tea kettle and or a coffee pot in the room. We would certainly recommend the Left Bank Hotel. No tea kettle or coffee pot.

Amazing location, in St Germain heart, few steps from Odeon metro station and next to one of the oldest Paris restaurant Le Procope. Our room was very very large (especially if you know Paris usual apartments and hotels rooms). I liked very much interior of the rooms. It was everything we needed. Well, I asked for room with many natural light, I get room with no natural light at all. It wasn't big problem, because we spend only late evenings in hotels room, but in the morning it's difficult to wake up, cause it's always dark :)

Location was very good, Almost friendly staff, Ok breakfast We are very depending of having air conditioning in the room. It is written on Left Banks homepaige that there is air conditioning in the rooms. However that is not correct. We asked the staff, how to turn on the air conditioning. They responded that the air conditioning is not turn on at this time of the year. We think Left Bank should remove the facility in rooms "air conditioning" or write that it is only in specific periods of the year that it is turned on.

This is a lovely little hotel right in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, galleries and an assortment of typically Parisian shops. Only a short walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre and very close to the Metro. Would go back to the Left Bank.
