Score from 525 reviews Very good
Room was really nice, large, and comfortable. Staff were really nice and it was really good to have free bikes available. Great location and really good view. Will stay there again.
Hot tub should be open before 10am and after 8pm.
Nice clean room Good view Easy parking Great breakfast Heated outdoor pool free to use
My credit card is charged twice - hotel says it isnt them, but I am not so sure!
Excellent view from the pool and very helpful personell. Good location with next to the lift to Aig-du-midi which we used. An other few minutes to get to central Chamonix promenad. Large free (for 24h) parking just outside the hotell.
Hotell is simple and plenty of young party voicies in the corridor at late hours. Some smell, but just noticable as I'm sencitive, from the bathroom. Not a big deal when I closed the door. Wi-Fi worked fine even I had to login in multiple times and it was a bit slow in the busy hours 6-10 pm.
Excellent restaurant serving wonderful and beautifully presented food. Great choice for breakfast. Lovely terrace in the shadow of a glacier and Mont Blanc
Location, facilities, staff, access to town and Agile D'Midi
nothing really we had a great time
The location of the hotel is so close to the Cable Car of Aiguille Du Midi about 300 meters only and the view of the mountains from the rooms was so fabulous.
Location is excellent. 5 mins walk to the Aguille de Midi cable car and 10 mins to town. We came by car and was very easy to locate without having to drive into town. Rooms were clean and modern, wi-fi was good and free. We stayed in 2 rooms, normal and superior. It is worth paying the extra for the superior room as you get much more space and better views. The bed was the same size in the normal and superior room and very big and comfy. Extra pillows were available in the wardrobe. Cable tv and were able to pick up Engish channels.
The service at the reception was very slow. In their defence they have just transferred over to a new compputer system, but one person to deal with check-ins and check-outs is not enough, and could be improved. The public car park opposite was full so we chose to pay the 10 Euros per day for parking which was well worth it as in security of the underground car park. Rooms were a litte dated with deep pile shaggy dark carpet and thick rough paint on the walls. The normal double room we had on the first night was on the first floor facing the road and although not a busy road, it was very noisy. Bathroom with separate and toiilet, both very small. We didn't have breakfast but at 15 Euros per person, there are plenty of better value options in Chamonix.
1.The hotel has a good location, near to the Aiguille du Midi cable car station and local bus stop. 2.Hotel located a few minutes away from town center. 3.We had a nice mountain view from our room. 4.There is a quite nice swimming pool with jacuzzi. 5.Very friendly, professional staff. 6.The hotel is a very well looking inside, nice designed and cozy, with lovely patio and communal terrace with mountain view. 7.Good food (but expensive)
1.Would be worth of price if the breakfast was included - otherwise it's a bit too expensive for average pocket. 2.No vents/air-con in the toilet neither in the bathroom so you can have own steam-room for free. We didn't like it though (especially in the toilet...) 4.Maybe I'm fussy but it would be nice to have a bit more facilities in the room like a proper mugs and steal teaspoons instead of one-shot paper/plastic coffee mugs and tiny plastic sticks (not spoons really) to stir your drink. 3.We spend 3 nights there and we noticed that jacuzzi was occupied over the evening for all the time mostly by the same guests even it was out of the season. We didn't have a chance to use it :/ I can't imagine how it works over the season. 5. I would say maybe *** but definitely not **** hotel, sorry. Little details make a big difference.
Very good location, very clean rooms with good service.

Pool Hot tub Close to Aguille du Midi lift
Pool, sauna, chillout room: awesome. Staff: friendly and helpful. Make sure you ask for a Guest card for the bus/train as it's 100% free w/ the card or EUR1.5 for each trip without it.
Hot tub: meh. It's on a 15-min timer (15 mins of jets, 15 mins of tepid bathtub) and it's not really all that hot. Wifi is truly terrible (slow, drops connection, and prompts to re-authenticate every time) everywhere... except in the bar, where it's fast and stable.
Location Cleanliness helpfull staff next door to the Jekyl and hyde bar which serves a great steak and the staff were very friendly.
Beer in the bar was a bit expensive at 8 euros a pint but you do expect to pay a bit more in a nice hotel
Lovely hotel with magnificent views. Rooms were decent and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool and hot tub were a real bonus.
Breakfast very expensive if you wanted it.
Staff, location and facilities. Internal decor is great; view to MB and Glacier is quite unique.
Requested a silent room. Got the opposite (room 211), just above the kitchen with waste disposal car (arriving at midnight) and catering car (arriving at 5 A.M). However, hotel management compensated in a fair way.
Very good and very nice hotel and place. Everything (incl. veather was perfect!)
Reception staff TV
Brown long pile carpet in bedroom No windows in room Room too hot Outside noise early in morning Breakfast
Location and staff
Great room Brilliant breakfast lots of choice Nice pool Good service
Our room (121) was on the first floor and looked over the road, we had a balcony door but no window and the room was to stuffy at night without the door open but then the road noise was a bit to much, although it isn't a busy road it was still and Issue
Check-in, arrived at 1 and they made no effort to prepare our room earlier. Had returned from hiking and had to look through my bags in their luggage room for clothes to change into. Travelling with my young daughter do very unpleasant.
One member of the front desk stuff who upon my arrival with the beautiful smile said: "Smile, your problems are over, you are in Chamonix."
The hotel is very depressing. Starting with the room with an ugly brown color shaggy carpet and the same color curtains and not enough light in the evening because they went on the savings mode. The Spa is in the basement without a day light, with the high level of humidity and the smell of the basement. With the usual inefficiency of the provincial French management they are trying to be a new age hotel without spending money. In order for this hotel to be a proper 4 star hotel they need to do a major renovation.
the plate between bathroom and hall way You could cut your foot on it
The food was excellent! The restaurant's staff was very professional, kind, well dressed. The bed was comfortable.
At the reception the employees were too casual (clothes and behavior), wich shouldn't be acceptable for a four star hotel. They weren't able to provide a toothbrush. I tried to call the hotel for two days without getting an answer. The hotel looks rather old, and not in a good way. There is a lot more bad things to say.
proximity to Mont Blanc tunnel
Views, location, quietness, spa/pool, value for money
Bedrooms/corridors need updating in parts, Artex walls, dark corridors, woodwork paint as if has been hit over several years with suitcases
