The location was very good. You can go anywhere in Paris by Metro or by bus in a short time. The room was extremely small, especially the bathroom. But the price was not so low, though it is usual in Paris.

The location was convenient to the Metro, main department stores, shopping precincts and all the main attractions. The staff on reception were welcoming and quite efficient on both check-in and check-out. The tea and coffee making was welcome, albeit, in plastic cups. The entrance to the hotel was tired and run down and the very small lift had not been cleaned for a long time. Our very, very, small room, which was supposed to be renovated in a "trendy" style, was simply awful and depressisng with brightly patterned carpet which matched nothing else. The lighting was very dim and inadequate and there was only one power point in the entire room. There was not even a chair to sit on or anything to put our luggage on. In the corner of the room there was a strange glass topped table, about the size of a small desk, with an equally strange table lamp which could not be on if you wanted to use the power point to boil the kettle or an electric shaver (which my husband needed to use) and no mirror! There was a mirror in the very small bathroom but not one power point. The shower recess (which I requested be cleaned thoroughly the next morning) was about 60cm x 60cm. It was impossible to turn around in it without knocking the walls or the tap! The bed linen was clean. The breakfast fare was only just adequate for 12 Euros per person and the room itself was tired with dirty walls and totally depressing. There were a number of other guests who were equally unimpressed with the property. I realise we were fortunate to get a cancellation booking at very short notice, due to an unfortunate change of plans, and it was peak time in Paris. However, the tariff charged did not reflect our expectations, being only 20 Euros less than a far superior hotel, Hotel Le Regent, on Rue Dauphine in St Germain, only ten days prior. All in all, it was a very unsatisfactory end to what had been a wonderful holiday, during which time we had stayed at some absolutely lovely hotels with tariffs a lot less than this one. But it is not about the tariff, which we are happy to pay, for the right service.

Excellent location. Expensive, poor service, tiny rooms, bad breakfast. The location itself does not make up for the shortfalls of this hotel.

Friendly Staff, good location. Reviews already mentioned the rooms are small, but actually the rooms are even smaller, and that failed the value for money idea.

Hotel is situated ina good position because Madeleine Square is very good position for visiting all other places in Paris... Well, rooms are very small...really small, ! Bed is too small for a man! I would not recommended this hotel for people who are big.... It is not a hotel for family, for couples with children!!!! Bathroom was clean and not too small.... strange isn't it? At last....next time I'll read comments from visitors !!!!

The staff was helpful and nice. The location was excellent! But, the room we had was at the top floor with low ceiling and very narrow - lots of bumping head. We could not use the shower properly, because the doors didn't open.

The location is perfect near to metro station 5 min walking, the staff are so friendly and sure they will help with any question. The elevator is so small it would fit only one person with his lugage one meter x 1 meter. Door of the room is lose; it'a a 2 stars hotel.

The staff are very warm and nice and always intend to help. I recommend this hotel to the travellers to Paris since its location is very good .. you can reach any shopping area as well as munuments & attractions very easily either by walking or by using Metro which the stations are very close to the hotel. Only thing , the elevator is very small.

The Central location was about the best thing about this Hotel... I had to wait for at least 10 mins while the Receptionist was on the Telephone and I was the only person waiting to check in! The Breakfast was very very basic and certainly not worth 12 Euros! There wasn't even any Butter to spread on your continental Bread! The Room mini bar was expensive too - it was 3 Euros for a very small bottle of water!

The hotel staff at the reception desk is very helpful and nice with the guests. they are allways trying to overcome if possible whatever problem may occur.the location is very good for both visiting and shopping. The hotel is extremly noisy. the walls are very thin and you can here even a deep breath in the next room, not to mention bathroom activities or people talking at normal voice. so, do not expect to sleep long in the mornings. the elevator is only one and it is very small.

The staff with really helpful and speak English very good and they are very helpful When you search on booking.com about hotels locate in Champs elysees this is one of the hotels that appears in this area but the truth is this is far from being in champs elysees it's near Opera and actually to reach the champs elysees you have to take the subway to a station called concorde and then change it to champs elysees and the nearest subway station is like 5 mins walk from the hotel and the hotel is like 15 mins walk from the champs elysees, the room is very small with a so called double bed which supposed to fit for 2 persons but actually the bed is tooooooooooooo small, also the elevator is the smallest elevator I have ever seen in my whole life it can't take 2 persons with their bags, either it takes 2 persons alone or one person with the bags. The overall idea that if you wanna stay in the champs elysees itself don't go for this hotel
