Convenient and cost effective whilst travelling I have been at this hotel several years en routeto go sking. It has always ben fine. This time however you had a coach trip so I assume that is why we ended up in the disabled room that had not been used for ages. Both sink taps were seized up. I managed after great effort and brute force to get the cold to work but never the hot. Tthe shower curtain needed repairing as it came out of the rail where it was damaged. The sink only has a shower head attached from which you had to take drinking water and use for teeth cleaning. Not great even at the price.

Everything was fine - i would definitely stay there again. The breakfast had an actual espresso machine which was a nice touch. The bed was old and small. we rolled into each other all night because the middle of the bed sagged quite a bit. But you cant expect much for such cheap prices.

The welcome was very friendly and efficient. The room was small but quiet and comfortable with a range of tv channels to watch. The breakfast was excellent, especially as it was included in the price and very good value for money! Plenty of parking and well situated near the ww1 memorials. Our Satnav had difficulty locating the hotel. Only hand towels were provided so bring your own larger towels if you stay.

It is near my family home and was the right choice for the trip we made over to France. It is on the main road between Bethune and Lens. It is a budget hotel. Ideal if you wish to visit Vimy Ridge, Loos, etc.. anything to connected with the First World War in this area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

A good stopover within an hour of Calais. Interesting architecturally with an atrium entrance lobby. Although near dual carriageway road noise was not a problem. We arrived later than 9pm locking up time but the night manager was very helpful and welcoming. Spoke some English too, and was keen to use it which was nice. Breakfast was included in deal price and was quite adequate for stopover budget box hotel. Double bed was comfortable. Location is not in Bethune but on outskirts of one of the suburbs. Entrance faces a funeral parlour and open parking area is not secure. Building interior rather run down; flooring in breakfast area was badly breaking up and decor and design of beds and fittings was quirky and dated. Our room although non smoking smelled of smoke and unclean toilet. Inn need of deep cleaning, not untypical at this budget level. Toilet shower module was unnecessarily cramped.

Cheap Bethune is a grotty town and this hotel is in a grotty location, next to the funeral directors. The room was grubby and smelt of stale smoke. The carpets were dirty the public areas very tatty. Best avoided

Tout était très bien, le personnel était très aidant et accueillant. Pour le prix demandé, nous avons payé pour la chambre 2 personnes: 34Euro (+pt déj en suppl), vous n'êtes pas du tout volé: les chambres sont toutes simples mais vous avez tout ce qu'on peut espérer: lit confortable, Tv (avec en plus Canal+), petite salle de douche (+wc) et le tout super propre. De plus, vous avez une personne qui reste sur place toute la nuit pour la sécurité et autre, c'est toujours rassurant. Nous avons pris l'option suppl du petit-déj à 5Euro par personne, et là non plus rien à dire, vous avez: des bons croissants, pain, biscottes, jus, yaourt, fruits frais,... café / thé, et tout cela à volonté, que demander de plus...? En partant, je dis au responsable se trouvant à la réception que tout était très bien, il me dit que cela fait du bien à entendre car il me dit que les gens se plaignent souvent, mais que voulez vous de plus pour 34Euro, qu'on porte vos valises dans votre chambre et qu'elle fasse 100 m2 avec une vue sur le Mont Blanc !?

Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible. Le petit déjeuner est suffisant. Hotel qui a besoin d'une sérieuse rénovation. Les couvre-lits, la moquette et les plafonds ect La cabine de douche est trop petite et le système de douche pas très pratique d'autant que l'eau est souvent froide. Pour trois personnes c'est vraiment juste. Les serviettes de toilette sont aussi trop petites.
