Breakfast O.K. But very expensive for the choice you got. Room was very hot and cramped. Had to keep opening the window but it was very noisy from all the traffic. For the equivalent hotel in London where we stay (Travel Lodge), we would have paid £19 for the room and £15 for four breakfasts. Much bigger room, less noisy, and loads cheaper. |

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Beds comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Easy to find. Shower efficient. On the whole, exactly as advertised and reviewed by others. Ok for an overnight stopover but that's all. Our room was due for a refurbishment - the walls were grubby and the bathroom sink although clean, was marked with use and age. (New taps though!) Bathroom door lock not good - needed two people to open it. I know that space is at a premium, but the shower room was really tiny in comparison with other hotels of this type we have stayed in, so if you are overweight or have difficulty bending you'd get stuck! I don't remember a warning about the minumum age on using the bunk when we booked. Luckily our children are 10 and 12, but there were several younger families there who would not be able to use the bunk. |

A very good location, if a little tricky to find. Plain, simple and functional. Fine for an overnight stop to break up a long journey. Just what you'd expect for the price. Lack of air conditioning made the room too hot to sleep in without the window open, then it was too noisy! Good sound insulation, but only with the window shut. Top bunk awkward to get in to. Bathroom is really too small. |
