Monterosa30, rue la Bruyère, 09. Opéra, 75009 Paris (Show map) Very good, Score from 505 reviews“The Monterosa is a small, smart, modern hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely designed and very clean. The breakfast was great and the afternoon drinks in the lounge a nice touch. A great choice!”

I expect far more for 249EUR/night. This was supposed to be a superior room. This hotel does not deserve its stars. An horrible cheap WC detergent lemonish smell everywhere (corridors, elevator, room)! Terrible reception, flopped into its chair, barely polite. Useless room service: never could bring the breakfast I ordered (twice!) Small room. A couple of aluminium bars in a corner instead of a proper wardrobe. If this is a superior room, I can't imagine what the standard room look like.

Excellent hotel, confortable, design and clean. It has just been refurnished. Rooms are not to small (very rare in Paris) Free drinks in the hall of the hotel. I really recommand it! If you need a car park, there is one which can be booked close to the hotel for 27€ for 24 hours and a nice italian restaurant in front of the hotel!! Everything was fine.

There are several things that were great about this hotel, including the main front desk guy (whose name I don't know), who was very knowledgeable and helpful (the night guy was nice, but wasn't very helpful, but that was primarily due to the fact that I don't speak French and he spoke almost no English). The bed was very comfortable, the room and decor of the hotel were very cute, and the breakfast had just the right type of (tasty!) foods to get the day started! I wasn't too excited about the fact that the elevator/lift was broken when I arrived, and that there never seemed to be anyone around working on it. Four days later when I checked out, it was still not working. My friend and I jokingly determined that it probably never works. So, even though we got a good work-out walking up four flights of stairs each time we went to and from the hotel, I am glad I didn't have to lug my 24kg suitcase up (one of the staff did that for me) and only had to drag it down once (when I left).

Hotel Monterosa was fantastic and I highly recommend staying there. Looking for a hotel in Paris is not an easy task because prices are so high and the quality of hotels for a reasonable price is not that great. I cam upon Hotel Monterosa and it looked great in the pics. It is even better in person. The entire hotel and the rooms are super clean, the rooms are very modern and the beds are extremely comfortable.....it's not a huge room but not that small either...it was comfortable enough. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing....they were so helpful with everything we asked for. We arrived at the hotel 3 or 4 hours before check in time and I wasn't feeling well so we told the concierge and he quickly arranged for our room to be ready and let us check in hours earlier! The hotel offered complimentary breakfast as well as snacks and beverages throughout the day. The locations was great....just a couple metro stops away from the centre of Paris. There is a metro stop a few minutes walk away from the hotel. When I go back to Paris I will definitely stay at Monterosa again as it was great and I don't have a single complaint.

The hotel location is very nice. The breakfast was nice. Good place to reach all the most interesting points in Paris We have stayed for 6 nights at the hotel, but room services only once brought additional shower gel and shampoo (small bottles). I would like to suggest the hotel manager to monitor better the work of this staff

quiet location but handy for metro/bus, good bathroom, comfortable bed, being able to make tea/coffee or get cold drinks in the foyer afternoon and evening on the fifth floor (the attic) the ceiling slopes and the window is in the roof so no view out and not good for taller people....in future i would request a room on a lower floor.

this is a renovated hotel, which exceed my expectations from a 3 stars hotel in Paris. It is rare in the view of this city. the hotel is well designed, cleen, fresh and the finish decorations are really nice. the hotel has fair rooms which are nice to stay at. the breakfast (includes in the price) is nice and offers everything you need for BF. the price is very good. to sum it up great value for money and a bit more! oh, and excellent staff service. not really centered but this is not so bad as well. 7 metro stations from Champs Elisee.

The hotel staff was really kind. Interior was so modern. Very clean. The special thing was that they serve a free drink and snack during daytime to 10pm. It was amazing. Breakfast item have to prepare sufficiently. There was lack of egg and Croissant. etc. Parking garage is little bit far to who have to carry many carriers like me. (Baby stuff) Parking price was little bit different with that shown in Booking.com.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left absolutely nothing bothered us. The staff was always incredibly friendly and helpful, I have stayed in hotels more expensive than this one in Paris but was never this well treated. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms 401, 402, 403 and 404 have a small balcony, so that ads to the atmosphere. Everything is spotless, stylish and brand new. Breakfast had a great variety of food and was delicious. The hotel was full but we never heard other guests. It was a top city break from start to finish. Can't recommend this enough! The lady manager was great as well and she seemed to be on top of everything all the time, nothing was a problem for the Monterosa staff. Will come back many times.

First Parisian hotel I've stayed in that I'd recommend to others. Ive always been disappointed with our hotels in the past but the Monterosa changed that! Very friendly and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean room that was very well heated. Good location, minutes from Blanche And Pigalle metro stops. Generous continental buffet breakfast, snacks and refreshments and 24 hour wifi are all included in the room rate. Would stay here again without hesitation!

“Taking into account that hotels in France/Paris are quite expensive and the average level is lower than in other countries (e.g. Germany). This hotel is ok. It is at least 3 star hotel, if room were some bigger then I will mark it as a 4 star hotel. Even though hotel is OK, breakfast is ok too (of course it is not like in Germany or CZ)” Nikita, Moscow |
