The location was excellent, 5 minutes from the subway and RER, 20-25 min walk from marché Montorgueil. Staff was very nice. Room was small, narrow, and not particularly new. |

The location is good, they have 2 metro stations nearby. Breakfast is fair enough for additional pay of 7 euros. Really small room, thin walls. I could hear all my neighbours talks. Room definitely needs renovation. |

Good location - 5 minutes away from Gare du Nord. Staff tried to charged more than the booking reserve was for. Hotel staff talked to me as I was trying to cheat him. Also, it was not possible to pay with credit card, since it wasn't working their machine. This was very inconvenient. |

The hotel may have some better rooms, but the room I stayed in was a dump. The bathroom was literally one and a half square meters altogether, with cracked tiles, peeling paint, a frayed shower curtain and plenty of mold. The ancient dirty carpeting on the floor not only made it compulsory to keep your shoes on all the time when you are out of the bed, but also gave out a very unpleasant musty odour. The window opened to a walled-in cavity which was littered with rubble and cigarette butts. The cardboard walls provided no privacy for you or your neighbors. I had to stay five nights because I did not have the chance to shift elsewhere; during those six days the bedsheets were not changed even once, and the room was hardly ever cleaned... |

Very rich breakfast for 7 eur, compared to other prices in Paris. Good value for the money, rather good location, very close to the Metro and 20 to3- minutes walk to Pont Neuf. Rooms too small, not as showm in the pictures on your site, at least not the room we stayed in. Staff a little reluctant when we spoke in English, but then again, this might be a French caracteristic. |

Its easy to reach, near to the metro station, near to the railway station(for those interested to go further by train) Its difficult for people with luggage to go to the upper levels, as there is no elevator. The stairs are quite narrow too, which makes it even worse. |

Position and space. Actually, it was a triple room with one double bed and a single bed even if we only booked a double room, so it was big and comfortable, especially the bathing room, it's the biggest one during our trip in europe, but be careful of the flush, it will flush out since it uses a depressurized system. Btw, the hotel provide drink water. The price doesn't include breakfast. Narrow stairs. |

very nice lady on reception with excellent english ~ very little traffic noise ~ clean towels hot water ~ close to stations but i would rather walk / metro further away than stay here again at these prices ,also stayed at hotel belgrand 20mins on metro but much better & cheaper rooms but very noisy there, no heating in room, mouldy smell in room, no wonder every time you flushed toilet a cup full of water went onto floor, carpet looked marked, didnt fancy putting anything on it, fire doors added but lots of bare plaster around frames etc, lift stops between floors onto 8 spiral stairs up or down to your room, cracked shower tray, not a real buffet breakfast only one cup of tea etc one roll and a... |

Very friendly and helpful staffs mainly the girl who in charges during the weekday with also others except one man who works for night round on the weekday. He is absolutely unfriendly and very rough with us. The location is great easily access to, airports, railway station and everywhere in the city either with metro, bus or by foot. Apart from a man staff I was very much annoyed by my neighbor which dues to bad room isolation. After long trying day from strolling around the city I was awoke by room's door shutting and conversation from my neighbor. |

The staff were very nice. The hotel is extremely close to the Gare de l'Est, thus very convenient for me. The room was clean, with nice towels, soap and shampoo, the breakfast was good value. I was very satisfied. It was only a two star, but it was markedly superior to the three star (Hotel de 'Est) I stayed in recently, also booked through booking.com . There was ample hot water the second day but it was only lukewarm the first. The shower head holder was broken, but I told the reception and they said they would fix it. The room was somewhat cold during the night when the heat was turned down (top floor). |
