Nation Montmartre is in northern Paris, just a 5-minute walk from the Sacré Coeur and Gare du Nord. It is across from Barbes-Rochechouart Metro Station providing direct access into the city.

Hotel Gavarni is located a short walk to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It offers free Wi-fi access and is the first independent hotel in Paris with the European Ecolabel.
Score from 272 reviews Good
This hotel is conveniently placed near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations. All the soundproofed rooms were refurbished in 2007, and some boast a view of the Eiffel Tower.

In central Paris, just a quarter mile from Gare du Nord Train Station, St Christopher’s Inn Paris has 3 bars, a chill-out room with a foosball table and an internet café.
Score from 2113 reviews Very good
Very close to Gard de list metro station where you can go to all areas in Paris only 100 meter
Every thing, stair carpet moldy and smells very bad, they gave me a room where toilet was outside the room and they force me to pay extra 20 euro to replace with bigger room, very old lift, the lady at front desk was nice and helpful but the male one was not friendly , management is greedy , you must keep room key at reception, no lock inside room, room small size old beds and sheets, close to it a African bar and you can hear the shouting after midnight, their break fast is a coffee , one croissant and one butter and jam , very greedy and low profile management , they charge you 9 euro for this garbage, however some middle quality restaurants ate near by All pictures are fake by Photoshop I will never stay in such garbage hotel
Close to train stations and bus
To far away from all attractions, not a clean area, room very small, no room to even put suitcase, carpet in room filthy, musty smelling bathroom. "Lounge", not really! Not worth the money!
Good budget hotel. Price & location were good.
Staffs attitude did not make us feel welcome. Was bordering on rude. Basic accommodation but fair for the price in Paris.
Tucked away from the crowded areas around the train stations. Close to gare d'est
wifi not in the rooms, we still have to pay a charge to use it
Friendly staff, good location
V expensive for what it is. Wifi 5 Euros.
Be carefull when you reserve, there is two buildings and in the second, NO LIFT ! and for example our bedroom was at the 4th floor without lift !!!! To have WIFI ?
The Hotel is very good located, near Gare du Nord and Gare du l'Est. Nice and helpful personnel. I recommend.
The location near Gare de L'Est and Gare du Nord is very good. It's easy to reach from CDG airport by RER train and also to travel around Paris as there are bus and metro stops nearby. The staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are cleaned daily.
The walls are thin so some noice can be heard from the stairway and neighbouring rooms. The lift stops between floors so you'll have to carry your bags up or down from the lift to your floor.
wifi connections, location, general attitude of some of the staff except Svetlonia and so on...
The workers were really nice and helpful.
The fact that we couldn't use the internet in our rooms was very inconvenient. No full length mirror, no iron, coffee maker. I requested for a fridge and microwave and would have paid extra for it, but that wasn't possible.
Location was great. Rooms were spacious. Good breakfast places and stores nearby. Railway and metro stations within 10 minute walk.
Noisy rooms. One could hear clearly the next door taking a bath. TV show only french programs.
We found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. Although our room was small we were located on the ground floor which was very helpful as one of us has knee problems and finds stairs difficult. We had requested a lower placed room and although the hotel could not guarantee it, it appears that they were able to provide it. Excellent shower, hot water etc
Talkative guests late at night in outside area near our room. We should have contacted reception earlier to move these talkers!
Quiet, clean place to sleep and shower before heading off via the Gare du Nord.
As they warn you, they do charge for Internet (5 euros). I know this is standard in posher hotels but it's a bit unusual in basic ones. Also the only electricity socket in the room seemed to be the one the tv was plugged into! (I unplugged the tv).
Fine for basics, no frills etc. Was traveling with a school group and met our requirements fine. Good location if coming from Gare du Nord on Eurostar.
Curious musty smell in bathroom. Wifi only available in lobby not in rooms and costs extra. Watch out that breakfast is not included in the price though bar round the corner does an excellent one rather cheaper!
location ( near train station)
reception (try to push me paying cash) dirty floor,
The staff was quite rude and not very helpful. We had to ask for an extra towel since there were three of us and we were only given two. We had to pay for the wifi and it worked only sporadically. When we complained we were told it was not their problem but must be our device (we had two and it did not work on either of them if there was someone else in the lounge using the internet). The light above the sink was out and the toilet sprayed on the floor every time you flushed. The room was very muggy (no air-conditioning) and the street below was loud at all hours of the night. The outside patio was not at all as pictured (there were no tables and chairs to sit and have a meal). It was mainly used as a small place to smoke which meant if your room window was open you smelled all of the cigarette smoke. This was not a good experience and definitely over priced for the facilities. I would NOT recommend this hotel.
Excellent location (very near to Paris East Station) with clean and neat rooms.
No lift in the second building. It's not fun to climb on the fifth floor with your luggage.
Spacious en suite room, dated, but usefully furnished.Plenty of good towels. No traffic noise. Good TV reception./very professional, pleasant staff.Very easy access to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. Good, safe location for travel/sightseeing in Paris & beyond. I'd stay there again. Fair value for price.
No lift but with help of staff helpful with luggage.
Reasonable proximity to both Gare de Nord and Gare L'est, staff courteous and helpful
The lift was quite small, the sloping roof-- I banged my head twice.
The friendly staff who all spoke English.
Wi-fi only available downstairs.
the location and the room/bed size and cleanliness,
the shared toilets, the breakfast, the only french channels and the internet facility(not available in rooms and expensive for a short visitor).
The lady receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The feeling gives you a good impression of the hotel when you come in for the first time.
I didn't like the stiffness of the room doors. The door shuts if you don't hold it when you open and the sound is loud. This also happens to others and you hear banging of doors several times.
Expensive, small bathroom, thin walls, old
