Excellent Location.Close to tourist areas, parking close by. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing information on the city and places to eat. Rooms were clean and tidy and made up daily. We booked a double room and twin room which were located together down a short private corridor. Mattress rather firm. Additional pillows would have been useful (must admit didn't ask for any so the hotel may have given us some if we had asked)

The staff are extremely helpful. Didnt' have breakfast - seemed a bit pricey for € 9.. Bed not the most comfortable in the world, but room cleaned each day, could do with general TLC. Good for the money..

The locatio Poor maintenance, The toilets didn't flush properly. The towel hangers were broken. No elevator, I had to carry my suitcases over 2 floors of narrow stairs.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent location near to the Notre Dame Cathedral and old city. The room is somewhat small with a good sized en-suite bath/shower. Practical for a short stay but a little cramped for longer. Nearby convenient secure parking. The room was a little too small and the bed lacked comfort - a bit worn. Nonetheless ok for a short stay in a city centre location.

Staff was great, hotel is in a nice part of town, right by the cathedrale (there is a great boulangerie on the way from the hotel to the cathedrale). Rooms were fine for the most part. Would definitely stay here again. Not much in the way of atmosphere if that's what you're looking for. No a/c in the rooms which can be a problem. On Saturday night it can get pretty noisy outside the rooms as its right by a couple of bars. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom and the bed was a bit on the uncomfortable side. These were pretty minor things for the most part (with the exception of ac if you're visiting during the hottest time of the year).

Good location close to the town. The receptionist was lovely and provided us with a map and pointed us in the right direction. We liked the iPod docking station. The hotel was warm and very stuffy. We had to open the window at night but we were on the first floor and it did not feel that safe. There was a lot of noise during the night from the road. The hotel would benefit from aircon! The bathroom was very basic and the toilet was in need of limescale remover. The carpet looked like it could do with deep shampooing! Ok for one night but no more.

Inter Hotel Notre Dame is centrally located in the heart of Rouen, near places of interest, (one minute away from the Cathedral). It is a clean hotel and most importantly, the reception personnel are extremely nice and helpful.

Good central location in the city of Rouen within sight and sound of Notre-Dame Cathedral! Easy to find by car if you are arriving from Northern France and using a Michelin route planner or Sat Nav. If you have time and access to a computer, look up the location on Google Earth. Parking was not a problem. There is short term street parking near hotel to unload bags, etc, and 24 hour parking very near. We chose not to include breakfast in our deal as it seemed expensive, and there are patisseries and cafes close by for continental breakfasts. Hotel room was small, but okay for a short stay - good use of space. Our room was pleasantly decorated and we slept well, even in heart of city with windows open on summer nights. Staff are friendly and speak English if required and have some tourist /local advice. Hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but was tastefully decorated within. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family - good value for money. As we knew from the hotel description, there is not a lift within the hotel. We were on the top floor, but reasonably fit (for a middle aged couple!). The receptionist happily carried our bag to the room, and we managed to bounce it back down three flights of stairs on our departure. Lack of lift could be a problem for elderly, unfit or lazy - don't let it put you off!! Bathroom is smallish and access to the shower could be a tight squeeze if guests are on the larger side.

Excellent polite staff who spoke very good English, although I do speak French. Great to have free access to the internet. The net curtains in the bedroom require washing. Decor a little dated in room. Parking facility would be a great bonus, although we were lucky to get a paid parking spot nearby.

The staff were really lovely. Very helpful. The guy behind the desk carried on of our suitcases upstairs to our room. They started conversations with us on several occasions. Definitely the friendliest hotel we encountered during our France trip. The room was extremely clean, quite large for France (plenty of space to open up suitcases and the bed comfy. Bathroom was pretty large too. The iPod dock was a nice surprise. It was great to be able to listen to some tunes. Location was great too. Wifi connection was speedy. We paid much more in other parts of France for much less. We were very impressed with this hotel given the price. To be honest there wasn't really anything we didn't like. Only downside is that there wasn't an elevator. However, we were on the first floor so it wasn't a problem.

It is very close to the city center with easy access to public parking near by. The rooms do not have airco so in the Summer it can become hot inside the room. I was surprised that there was no forreign channel on TV other than only French television. I suppose mostly people from abroad visit Rouen? Also the noise from the street is too much if you want to have a quiet night! This hotel is not suited for people with a handicap as there is no elevator!
