Lift access was good as was location
Wifi was slow and kept dropping out. You need to logon every time it times out. Slow transmission times required sitting in foyer to send emails at times.
The hotel is fairly basic but is one of the more reasonably priced establishments in Paris. It is in a convenient location in terms of Gares du Nord and Est.
It does not have the ambience of quieter places on a side street. It is on Rue Lafayette, I would recommend a room on the upper floors if you want the view if the park opposite and/or the rear of the property if you prefer quiet.
The Location. My room (60) Breakfast
My checking out ( I had already settled my account on date of arrival !) was a long process, actually 25 min plus which I could have only attributed ( my opinion) to the night shift personnel who lacked the expertise in tackling unexpected situations ( not mine).
Everything is accessible from this hotel; bus lines are plentiful; and Metro station Cadet is within 100meters walk
Payment terms are based on backpackers standards ie advance payment for 6 days, they must have had quite bad experiences from previous guests but I would think that reception is capable of discerning backpackers from normal business people.
Didn't like being asked to pay an additional "tax" of one euro per person per night after the accomidation was fully payed in advance
Location . Walking distance to L'Opera House Close to Gard de Nord Great Bisto/Café across the road
Staff members are very kind .
Nothing to highlight
Staff and location were excellent.
Location, walking distance to the Opera, Montmartre and Galleries Lafayette and train station Gard de Nord.
Breakfast quality had deteriorated in the three years since we were there last. Breakfast staff not very enthusiastic about their job.
Proximity to centre of the city Good location. The staff are good .
The shower for single rooms are too small, one cannot can't make a complete circle without bumping on the wall of the closet, can't even bend down, the blankets needs change, some of the towels needs change.
Room furniture old. Need to renovate
staff was very friendly, and they helped us; breakfast was good
women in the dinning room was very unpleasant
Location is very good. It is near Metro Station Cadet.
