Paris Bastille  

The room (a junior suite) was very clean and the facilities good.

The room had no air conditioning so we had to sleep with the windows open during the unexpected heat wave during the 2nd week of April, 2011. The street outside was very noisy with revellers shouting, smashing bottles and setting car alarms off until 6.30 am. I am not sure if this is a normal Saturday night occurence or whether it was because of a protest march that had occurred in that part of Paris the previous day. Either way, little sleep was enjoyed, though this was not the hotel's fault!

Good location, friendly staff

Room is small. I also did not like the location of the fridge in the wardrobe, it was overheating my clothes, so I had to unplug it.

Location good. Metro nearby, which was very convenient.

Location is fantastic because is close to metro station and also close to Bastille and to Marais districts which are places were you easly find nice and trendy restaurants, bars and very attractive shopping areas.

The staff very helpful + great location + very clean rooms + generally nice environment

A better lighting inside the rooms would have helped , however it seems all hotels in France are conservative with lighting!! +. There was no porter

We were in Paris for three days and there were 11 in our group-5 adults and 6 children. The staff was very accommodating! We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel and loved the referrals to family-friendly restaurants for dinner. We rented three rooms and they were all very comfortable and clean. The hotel is situated near local transportation.

Very helpful and efficient staff. Nice modern rooms with good lighting.great location between Bastille and Gare de Lyon.

Modern hotel. A free upgrade to a junior suite was appreciated. Very comfortable room with two bathrooms and a large bed. Free wifi.

Location could have been better - did not seem like the freindliest of areas when we ventured out to find a resturaunt. However, this could be said of most capital cities.

The Paris Bastille was in an excellent location to access subways and walk to shops, parks, restaurants, and many beautiful locations in the city. The staff were always friendly and helpful with questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Paris.

The location was in the centre of Bastille with the metro being a short walk up the road. The centre of Paris (Eiffle tower etc) takes around 20 minutes on the metro. I would recomend purchasing a 'carnet' which is a tiny book of 10 tickets that costs around €10, well worth it if you are planning on using the metro quite a bit. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated although the net curtain in our room did have a large unsightly cigarette burn in it which we reported to reception in case they thought we had done it... they said they were already aware of it, why not remove/replace it then? breakfast was pretty good. All in all the hotel was nice and in a good location, I would recommend it if you want a modern clean hotel on a bit of a budget.

Service is good and staffs are nice and polite.

The bed is not hard enough and lift is too small.
