Hôtel Powers  

The hotel Powers is in a good location, just off the Champs Elysee and not too busy or noisy. The bedroom windows are large / traditional architecture. The room had a decent smallish double mattress. The desk & mirror was also traditional French Style which gave a antiquated traditional feel to the room.

The staff were awkward and were not well trained in being polite. On arrival we were told we had to stay at another hotel for a night. This at first seemed awkward but the hotel was nearby & was what I had expected the Hotel Powers to be, but wasn't. The bedroom we booked was a Superior Room & I had expected a large enough room to be able to walk a little & sit at a table that had tea & water available for us after a day sightseeing/shopping. The room was very small. The bathroom was not a good standard & also far too small. The shower was cheap plastic & leaked all over the floor. There wasn't a head board on the bed. The young night porter was cheaky & rude & I would not have employed him at all. An older night porter was far better the following evening. There was no concern shown towards the fact that I felt the room was not the standard I had expected. The room should have been called a Standard Double & certainly not a rather misleading Superior Double. I was on my honeymoon & this was a real dissappointment. The staff lacked manners & style & the rooms were not as discribed.

The rooms are individually designed. I enjoy the feel of a true boutique hotel that offers personalized service. The location is very central to all the amenities that the city of Paris offers. The staff maintained a level of respect while still treating us with a familiar flair.

No restaurant on premises. But with the close proximity of area restaurants that did not seem to be an issue.

Good location, close to Champs élysées, room is big enough, rest room is big enough and good. The room is designed with local style.

Elevator is too small, room is close to the street, so it was noisy of the traffic at night.

The location is great,the hotel is cosy and the staff is reeeeeeeeeeeeally nice,friendly and always smiling.the rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. Despite the fact that we spent more time outside the hotel it was like coming back home when entering the hotel lobby.

Due to its great location and its proximity to the champs elysees avenue it was really noisy on saturday night!!!!! To be fair it is the only thing we didn't enjoy :)

Most everything. Very stupped servis. Very nosy. Breacfast are very poor

The entire environment was very romantic and this hotel is very close to the Champs Elyssee market, with perfect places for dining and drinking.

The staff is not friendly and their behavior should be improved.

no air conditionning. too much noise form neighbours, elevator machine, hallway shouters at 2 and 3 am, neighbors making love.. not worth the money paid. room is ok but bathroom microscopic.

Being a traditionalist, I liked the interior decor and traditional lock on the door. I haven't seen that for ages; now its all cards for opening doors. I loved its proximity to my favourite sites in Paris. Would definitely go back there.
