Location proximity to restaurants and shops Decoration in the room Staff
Perfection, top to bottom. We stayed in room 66, which had the best imaginable view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was lovely, the bathroom gorgeous, the hotel wonderfully situated and the staff absolute angels. Five stars! A++++. It was a stay I will treasure the memory of. Perfect Parisian experience. Stellar.
I didn't like the part where I had to leave.
Location wad good. We could walk to most places. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere.
Beautiful old-world decor. Great location, right off of George V and Champs Elysees, but not too busy. Was nice walking up to French street noises. Friendly staff.
Bathroom a bit dated. We came back to our room to find the TV on. Looks like cleaning staff forgot to switch it off.
Extreemly good location and great staff at the front desk and house keeping.
Slow internet no other facilities
location and cleaning
the rooms was not good enough to satisfy me even though I make my reservation two month earlier and they apologize they cannot change it.
furniture very oldand small room
This Hotel is really in the heart of Paris between the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and the Eiffel Tower which if you haven't seen before once dark, lights up BUT sparkles on the hour for 5 minutes and when you can lie on your bed and look out your window at that, you know it wont get much better. We had room 68 on the top floor, Oh so French, modern ensuite and breakfasts to die for. Nice spa room. A chocolatier next door and a Shiek? in his gold plated lamborghini parking at the restaurants around the back. (Can't guarantee you'll see that but we did!) Shops so close, with price tags of $4000 for mens shoes! Find a mall with Starbucks and you'll find a small shop with even nicer tasting chocolates. In honesty with this Hotel you will not be disappointed. Recommend the bus tour for first timers and a stay longer than 3 days 'So much to do so little time."
All of the above, very Noisy after midnight
Air Canada missed the connection in Montréal and so the hotel after being warned that we were gonna be late by 24hrs still charged us for that 1st night, they would`nt even listen and said we had to pay. Not very happy, i then asked them for a rebate cause we were promised a king size bed to be told they didn`t have any.
Great location, atmosphere, nice traditional design.
Little bit of modernisation would help to increase a quality of the hotel.
the location was great near to champs elysees and the staff were very helpful and nice we will defiantly choose this hotel again in sha allah
i just wish there is a water boiler kettle
Our 5 th floor view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony, brilliant.
Very happy with everything.
The only negative was that there wasn't a kettle in the room.
coffee making facilities would be nice, wonderful location but pricy as well
Near the main shopping area!
The air-condition is so noisy! The carpet is not clean
The room looked really royal and good but it looked better in photos.
The staff were hopeless we were there for bastiel day and they didn't even know to tell us what was happening... So we nearly missed out on the fireworks and had a bad seat at the parade also.
lovely hotel in a beautiful part of paris, only 5 minute walk to the arc de triumph. hotel rooms are spacious and bathrooms were very clean. breakfast was lovely and the staff around the whole hotel were very helpful and friendly.
In the reviews we read about some rooms with views, we were on top floor (floor 5) and there were defiantly no views from what we could see from our 2 sets of opening doors. maybe there are from other rooms!
Everything is nice
Lettle bet noisy at weak end from the surrounding
Just a perfect hotel in the perfect place. Couldn't find any faults.
Location and the terrace with a table and chairs to just sit out and relax. The front desk service was great! Very helpful.
Little older and seemed a little musty but otherwise good.
The staff was excelent, the location is great, breakfast was good.
rooms are old and the flors crack a lot, too much noise coming from outside.
Our room and bathroom were spacious.
The wi-fi was weak in our room, had to sit near window to make it work. Internet service so slow we were not able to print boarding passes at hotel business center.
We were close to the points of interest on the Right Bank. The staff was typically French but once you broke through the reserve they were helpful. The included breakfast was excellent and is served in a gorgeous room.
Originally we were put in room 70. It's an awful garret room on sixth floor with no view. When we complained the man at the desk reviewed the options, noted that we had booked through booking.com and moved us scrips the hallway to room 68. Much better room facing the street with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The carpet was dirty but overall we thought the room was suitable and was a we could expect from an old hotel. We were to discover later that the sixth floor is truly the garret floor, judging solely by the lighting and decor of the hallways on the other floors. The other floors even had a more lovely elevator and staircase, neither of which reached the sixth floor. We paid approximately US$400 per night for the garret room. At least the view of Eiffel Tower was probably better up there. Also, none of the TV stations were in English. English language shows were dubbed into French, not captioned. Strange.
