Close to centre, metro station. Friendly staff, air conditioning in the room Minimum of furniture, only one convenience outlet in the room. No hair dryer, no shampoo. Too dark. The room is uncomfortable, not cosy. |

Personal was really really pleasant, most of the speak good English, and some of them even Russian ;) My room was very clean. Poorly working air conditioner, but it is never too warm or too cold in Marseille so it is not a big problem. Winows are not euro-type, so it is not possible to fix them in half open position. |

The hotel is in a mediocre street in central Marseilles but, that apart, it is well placed for the shopping centre of the city and only a short walk from the old port. There are plenty of excellent, sensibly priced restaurants nearby too. Don't miss the Cours Julien. The staff were attentive and helpful. The buffet breakfasts were French style (rather than international) but very good. The rooms are a bit spartan, particularly in the provision of clothes space. |

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. There was no hair dryer in the room. The breakfest was very bad! There was only jam for the sandwiches - no cheese no ham! Nothing else. |

Hotel lay near the centre and lay in a side-street. Is a silence location. Hotel room was near the elevator. Everythime when elevator come on the etage you hear open en close the doors. Thats very irritating. And noise pollution when chambermaid clean other rooms. |

The internet access is quite good. I enjoy very much the air- coniditioning in the room. For me, it's a little hard to find the hotel, it's in a little alley. Such a torture while carrying a big luggage and can't find the hotel. The cleanliness of the room could be better, the floor is a little bit dirty, beside that, everything in the room is quite clean and comfortable. Finally, the only thing that I am not really happy about is the cleaning lady. I was told that I should check out at noon but the cleaning lady came about 11 am while I was still packing and she just could not wait to clean my room !!! She knocked my room so many times to check if i left. That is really annoying!!! |

Good location, good price, normal service. But no suitcases, no shampoo, thin walls, old plug-ins and problems with air-conditioning. |

Nothing. Maybe location. Amost everything. Hotel is old, dirty and trashy, and so is the personnel. It is like walking into a time machine. When you walk in, you are right in the beginning of the 80s. Airconditioner was worthless and additionally it was leaking water. Room was dark, dirty and smelly and so was the bathroom. Door lock was also a bit loose, which felt quite unsafe. |

Location is very good. The place is quiet. Wifi is available!!! Breakfast is rather good. Room was of a reasonable size. Everything inside the room is extremely simple but not trivial. It was rather noisy between midnight and 2am. No idea, why (?) Probably this is a French style to go to bed so late (?) |

There were only 2 towels in the bathroom for 3 people. the shower was leaky. but the worst part was the people in the room next to us screaming and throwing things at the wall until 4 am. I was very unhappy with the hotel and I would never stay there again nor reccomend it to anyone |

Located 200 metres from the Joliette underground station and Euroméditerranée, Hotel Les Gens de Mer offers a warm and friendly welcome 10 minutes by foot from the famous Vieux Port. |
The hotel boasts a gorgeous Napoleonic facade, and it welcomes you in the heart of Marseille, 300 metres from the Old Port, in a semi pedestrian street in the district of Noailles. |
In the business district, just a few steps from the Avenue du Grand Prado, our residence offers accommodation in modern and elegant surroundings. |
The residence is ideally situated, just a few steps away from the old harbour of Marseilles. We also have easy access to the Colbert station of the Métro. |
