Cleanliness Standard of Decor One small pillow No bedside table Room/WC On the small side Wall mirror in lousy position No sink plug Plumbing noise from other rooms
Location, location, location and friendly staff. Room small, but hey this is Paris. Would recommend.
We had huge problems with payments, as two different credit cards were used for reservation and payment - we still waiting for the pre-authorisation sum to be released (one week passed). Personnel wasn't helpful in this situation.
Friendly & helpful staff. The location is right next to the subway & walking distance to the Effile tower. The restaurant 7? Vive?the one right by them is excellent. The rooms were nice nothing fancy.
Location Free Wi FI
Room was very small but it is OK for very short stays. No English TV channels were available
The location of this hotel is excellent, a very short leisurely stroll round the corner to the Eiffel Tower. It is also literally across the road from the Metro and a supermarket and a few bars and restaurants. The staff were ok (they changed our room upon request without a problem) and gave us info when we asked. We felt totally safe in the area we were staying
We were first given room 602 at the top of the hotel. It is the worst room I've ever been given. Stained carpet, broken lamp shade. Very dated decor and furniture. It had some mould/damp and although I had a cold, my wife could smell the fusty smell with damp. I asked to change rooms and they gave us 104 (why didn't we get this in the first place?) and they did it without problem. This room was a lot lot better no mould and looked a lot cleaner, very small still but enough for us for a few nights (I've heard paris rooms are smaller) .bathroomclean but tiny. The bed needs a new mattress by miles (it didn't help my back that much) all in all 104 was for paris I'm guessing about right for what we paid. To sum up the hotel where it is, and from outside could be really really nice and very quaint if they bought new carpets, new mattress etc furniture and really did it up then I'm sure people would return time and time again so if the owners of the hotel prince read this, you really need to do this because you have the basis of a lovely hotel that is let down by some small investment in the decor etc. Would I recommend. Still probably yes for room 104 although still don't expect luxury. For room 602 never ever ever!!
Staff was not friendly at all. Wifi was not working and we asked the girl at the desk how to make a telephone call home from our room. She had no idea how to make a call from the hotel. The room was extremely small which is expected in Paris, but this room was really small and very outdated. The beds were very hard and the traffic noise was horrible. The air conditioner did not work well.
+location (10 mins walking to Eiffel tower) +very clean rooms +recomandation: la campanella restaurant (try their speciality: snails and frog legs) IT'S FANTASTIC! (it's just 5 mins down the street) +L'open bus tour station no.16 is 5 mins from it :)) (also recomandation-you can book it online) +staff speaks english :)
-wifi doesnt work at evening/night!!!! -breakfast is very poorly served (cornflakes, milk, boiled eggs, marmelade, yogurt, 5 slices of salami and 5 slices of cheese for whole hotel) you get 1 croassant when you order coffee..... so it could be better but its ok...
Location (eiffel, invalides, champs, metro, military school. All of these just a walk away) Safe in room. Kind staff. Value compared to other hotels.
Room is a lot smaller than professional photos make it look. View of window of our particular room.
Excellent location, very clean, nice bathroom. I would like to come back any time.Thank you.
The interiors were not new and didn't look clean; I never touch it to confirm though. My room was next to the elevator. I could hear the lift motor whenever it moved. However, I had surprising good sleeps, probably because of the nice cool air cond provided. The location is superb. A real 10-15 minute walking distance from Eiffel Tower, allowing me to visit there early in the morning; thus avoiding the crowds. It was also close to Musée de l'Armée, Musée Rodin, Musée d'Orsay and a few others. If you like museums like me, it would be a great choice. One last thing. The quality of staff varies. Some of them were great, some were only fair.
Bathroom was very small
Size of room quite small
amazing location right next to Eiffel Tower and metro stop right outside 15min ride to all main train stations, friendly staff, clean rooms! loved this place :)
Location was excellent for transport, restaurants, and sights. Staff(older gentleman was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were old but reasonably comfortable.
Noisy at night One bathroom had no door or curtain rail for the shower so got very wet.
Best location - 5 minute walk to the field n front of the Eiffel tower, Carrefour around the corner, Subway (Ecole Militaire) around the corner and restaurants nearby. Descent room, good bed.
Ensure to ask for a room with street view. Mold on ceiling from previous leakage; no timely maintenance upkeep.
location and staff
very tight bathroom and mold in the bathroom
Everyone one was very nice. Location was great.
Dated! Because it is a dated hotel...I thought for the size of the room it was overpriced. But, I had a great time!
The location the french windows in the room
1)the building 2)the entire room, peeling wall paper, 3)mildew on wall 4)extremely dated carpet 5) No coffee/tea making kettle jug 6) Bad housekeeping, no soap or shampoo replenished on 2nd & 3rd day. 7) Reception staff unfriendly, no initiative on hospitality 8) Small toilet in room 9) Breakfast was not value for money
Comfortable. Easily accessible and everything we needed, from very small lift to air conditioning available. Good internet access. Very good location close to all the restaurants and attractions. 150 meters' walk to Eiffel tower and 50 meters to grocery shop and Metro. Good for evening picnics at base of Eiffel. Cannot get better location. Well priced for Paris.
In dire need of refurbishment and restoration, however, its location negates any possible negative comment.
Hotel prince was in a good location, close to the Metro, Bank, La Poste, and shopping.
There was no facilities to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room?
Location was quite good as it was near the metro and not far from the Eiffel Tower. It had air conditioning.
Internet was hopeless. Very small room especially bathroom. There was no room to move. Staff weren't helpful. You would ask one of them for something and they would tell you to return later. When you went back someone else had taken over his shift. This happened twice with the same staff member. (Wish I asked his name). Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
