Great location, right in the town close to bars, restaurants, shops and seafront. Comfortable room, basic but clean. Very convenient for visiting Manton and Monaco

The hotel was conveniently placed for a stroll in the town of Menton, and had easy access to the railway station. Although the hotel is on a main road in a very small town, I didn't anticipate it being too noisy. However, from 5a.m. onwards there is the most horrendous noise of massive trucks revving up.One 16wheeler was parked outside the door of the hotel, and there seemed to be other trucks nearby too.

Nicely decorated, cosy room in a good French stile - rather spacious for a two-star hotel. A lift - very much appreciated after a daily mountain trip.

The hotel is charming and had everything I needed in a very central location. I was concerned that it might be too noisy but it was not. It was easy to walk from the railway station. It was nice to have a balcony with a view over the town. It would be good to have espresso coffee for breakfast.

The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Menton, yet it is not too noisy. Restaurants, cafe's and shops are all around you and the promenade is a mere 5 mins walk. There is a small breakfast room but no additional lounge area. Internet connection needs improving and there are plans to do so.

The location of the hotel is very good. The personal is friendly and kind. The rooms are good for couples but not for more people. There was enough hot water too. The room was very small for 3 people and an extra bed for the 4th. We were really disappointed by the lack of space. The bathroom was very tiny as well.

The hotel is very well located especially its proximity to the station, the old town and the beach, all of which are within comfortable walking distance. The Manager is very helpful and gives you a;l the infiormation and assistanmce you need about Menton. The room was a bit small and there is only one upright chair in the room. A second chair and some pegs in the bathroom would improve the lkevel of comforth in the hotel hotel. Therer is a lift and our overall experience as an 80year old couple was very good

elevator in good condition good shower daily clean towels and bedding problem with sink faucets in room 27 difficulty to turn on and off, nearly impossible to use. breakfast room had stack of boxes in a corner, not very attractive, I suppose that it was for temporary use.

We knew Menton was a very pleasant town. So close to Italy, it was an ideal place to break a very long train journey from Italy into France.The Richelieu is conveniently located and lived up to its two- star rating. The hotel has street level entry into a compact lobby. You then go up one storey (stairs or lift) to reception. The place is modest, but with 19th century character retained. Eg charming dining room, bedrooms with traditional windows and shutters. Our room had a marble fireplace too.. Breakfast was served with quiet charm (and proper table napkins) On first night we left window (at front) open and this let in noise. Second night we kept window shut and used the quiet aircon. Enjoyed good night's sleep.

Propreté de l’hôtel et très bon accueil hôtel bien central pas besoin de voiture dommage qu'il n'y ai pas plus de choix pour le petit déjeuner et il manque le double vitrage pour le bruit extérieur

Il y a un ascenseur, la chambre était pas trop mal, par contre la chambre était propre et la salle de bain aussi pour un hôtel de cette gamme la (quelque cheveux dans la douche du dernier client) Les murs sont trop fin (j'étais avec mon fils qui pleurait le matin a 8h et les voisins ont tapé au mur pas content alors qu'eux on parlés toutes la nuits et très forts), j'ai demander en réservant une chambre assez grande pour mettre mon lit bébé mais le réceptionniste n'avez ps lu la réservation correctement, pas de place de parking a proximité de l’hôtel.

“This hotel looks like a mansion-house, has quite a wow factor and is set in pretty grounds. It is also close to the beach and only a short walk to the main shopping & restaurant areas. The hotel has plenty of reception space, with lounge areas, card tables, a pool table, bar and dining rooms. We were also pleased with the spacious and secure car park. Our room was large, air conditioned and clean.
