The Hotel is located in la Varenne, a short from Paris and a few steps from the river bank of La Marne. The Saint Alban Hotel is an ancient mansion completely restored with elegance and sobriety. Clean room and bathroom; friendly owner. Very basic furnishing; shower was clogged; room itself maybe not meeting 3 star standards, which is the official rating of the hotel.

A quiet, comfortable and clean hotel in an agreeable Paris suburb. About 1km from the rer train station from where you can reach the centre of Paris in approximately 30-40 minutes. There is the added charm of the 07:00am alarm call, a bell rung courtesy of the church opposite! A little more honesty needed in describing the situation of the hotel. It is quite a bit more than 'a few minutes from Paris' and it is a little bit more than 'a few steps from the river bank of La Marne', unless you happen to be a giant!

We stayed at the Hotel Saint Alban as it is near to where my son lives. Very clean room with modern lift and nicely tended courtyard. Very good value for money, would recommend. Slight hiccup when we arrived as there is no reception after 21.00 hours, so you have to ring a number and the owner comes out - so brush up on your French!

The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. The room allocated was very spacious and comfortable. Would be great to have a few more English TV channels if possible, would definitely choose Saint Alban again as location is perfect for our requirements Thank you The noise of the church bells !!!! The lack of English TV channels

There was no hot water on the second day...Breakfast is limited and no choice, croissant, pain chocolat and bread - nice as it goes but I could not stick that for long

This was our third stay. Close to son's house 1km away, Close to shops in town. Access on rer to Paris. Ability to enter at any time through side gate and door. Comfort of rooms. Church bell rung at 0700hrs!!!!

Le cadre de l'hôtels (les abords) Le prix du petit déjeuner 10€ pour 1 café, 1 jus de fruits, 1/3 de baguette, 2 tranche de cake et 2 biscottes) la prestation ne vaut pas un petit déjeuner buffet, car pas de viennoiserie, pas de laitage pas de fruit ..... DE plus la connexion internet fut impossible sur 3 jours ma meilleurs connexion 10 minutes d'accès avec un flux descendant très faible 2 minutes pour afficher une page WEB. En ce qui concerne la TV pas de chaine type canal SAT, la TNT et chaine étrangères uniquement. l’hôtel de plus est un vieux bâtiment certes avec du charme mais celui-ci est très bruyant à chaque arrivée de nouveau pensionnaire dans l’hôtel on est réveiller.

La gentillesse du personel, le calme, la possibilité de changer de chambre au dernier moment. La forte odeur de tabac dans le couloir du 2 ème étage fin de soirée, lors de notre 2ème nuit passée dans l'hotel !!! Abscence de porte-serviettes dans la SDB

Hotel familiar, con un edificio muy bonito en un barrio bonito y tranquilo. Ningun ruido por la noche. En recepcion casi nunca hay nadie. Si se llega despues de las 7 hay que llamar para que habran el hotel el primer día, despues entregan llaves de acceso al recinto. La suite (que es un apartamento) no se podia cerrar con llave y podia entrar cualquiera. El baño muy moderno, pero se mojaba todo al no haber cortina de ducha ni una separación. El desayuno caro para lo que es, un cafe peor que el americano (todo agua), un zumo de naranja y un croissant o un par de panes para cada uno por 10 euros (esta servido todo, solo puedes elegir cafe o cola cao). No hay diferencia entre habitacion doble normal o superior. Por empresa reserve 1 suite y 4 habitaciones, por lo que vi casi todo el hotel.

La situation géographique le prix C'est assez rustique, il ne faut pas s'attendre au grand luxe. p.e., je n'arrivais pas à ouvrir mon placard coincé il y n'y avait pas du papier de toilette et personne à l'hotel un dimanche soir.

Pas de rideau de douche dans le petite salle de bien , petit déjeuner pas assez copieux mais raffiné . a part cela j'y retournerai avec plaisir mais en prenant les chambres confort à 86€

Son calme, le petit dejeuner, le grand parking de l'église d'en face que les pensionnaires peuvent utiliser. Les horaires d'ouverture de la réception (un peu trop restrictifs), il n'y a aucun wc, toilette, lavabo collectif, il faut systématiquement remonter dans sa chambre pour se laver les mains par exemple.

“I was very excited about the appearance, cleanliness and room amenities: spacious room, new and good quality furnitur, all the equipment needed to prepare meals, free and good speed internet access. You can equally spend a few relaxing or business days. Staff very helpful, immediate access to Carrefour Supermarket to ground floor. Access to affordable restaurants in the area: next to Paul Vaillant Couturier metro station is a Chinese restaurant with execlenta food, very cheap.
