Good rooms for families. Close to the Blois Chateux. The breakfast was better than expected with good service. The reception spoke fluent english. It was close to the raillway station so you could hear the trains (But it didn't come as a surprise as I did research on this site). |

Near train station, good breakfast at fair price, nicely appointed hotel, very good value. Some train noise but not really disturbing. |

The hotel is very close to the train station therefore it very conveniece if you travel to Blios by train. And a room I got was renovate nicely , even without AC. There is no elevator for small hotel which only 2 floors but could be difficult for who had a big and heavy luggage. |

Great price, nice staff. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Good location next to the Gare and within walking distance of the town. Perfect for seeing castles in the area. |

It's very nice hotel ; cozy, comfort and convenience (just cross the road from the station). Good Value for money. It's not too far from Blois castle. The owner is very friendly. They also provide wi-fi for free. |

excellent room, bed and bathroom. And really cheap. you can't avoid hearing the trains passing through the train station at night. No problem for a short stay, but if you stay longer.. and no elevator. |

Very small room and bathroom, noise from the trains, moldy shower, old curling wallpaper, stained bedspread, steep climb to hotel from Centre ville of Blois. |

Not much but it was a few steps from the train station and easy access to old Blois. The worst thing was the male reception person - he was unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful. Regarding room, Light so low in bathroom could not shave or put in contact lenses. |

personnel très sympathique à l'écoute de ses clients et de bon conseil pour les visites et restaurants du coin. le personnel était souriant et aimablement causant une remarque...l'hôtel n'accepte pas les animaux mais à notre arrivée, un chien et un chat se trouvaient là..(accueil et salle du petit déjeuner!!) certainement ceux des propriétaires...mais cela pourrait créer des remarques!!! pas pour nous car nous possédons des animaux et sommes plutôt pour l'accueil des animaux dans certaines limites! ---attention l'hôtel se trouve près de la gare (bruit des trains mais peu gênant ) à préciser dans le descriptif!! |

There's nothing to say about the hotel, it's so ordinary, but there's a beautiful, magic restaurant just behind the corner, in 50 meters - Coba Lodge. Probably the best restaurant in all Loire Valley, as well as in whole France! A must to visit and not too expensive. Hotel Saint Jacques is worth the stay because of it! The hotel surely needs some renewal, but it's not a problem, because it's so cheap. |
