Best Western Saint-Louis2 Bis Rue Robert Giraudineau, 94300 Vincennes (Show map) Very good, Score from 218 reviews“Very good hotel, very friendly staff, clean room, nice view, definitely recommend!”
Ran,
London
Facing the castle, the hotel offers comfortable and charming accommodation in the heart of Vincennes, one of Paris' rare bastions of greenery. Only 10 minutes by Metro from the center of Paris (metro line 1 - La Défense/Château de Vincennes), you can easily reach the numerous shopping areas the city provides, and after a day’s out exploring the French capital you can unwind in one of the hotel’s lounges. Just around the corner, you will find the Zoo, Floral Park and tropical aquarium. You can also visit the Château de Vincennes, which houses a history museum. Hotel Rooms: 25, Hotel Chain: Best Western.

The location is excellent... The Vincennes area is lovely. The superb Chateau, the small wine shops, the traditional boulangeries where you can have breakfast, the cozy restaurants and affordable coffee places, everything in a green setting. The hotel looks intimate and friendly, the rooms are small, as they are throughout Paris, but everything is clean, the furnishing is tasteful and the bathroom in our room was huge. It's very close to the subway and the internet connection is beyond satisfactory. It was a great choice and I can't wait to come back...

I chose this hotel for my elderly parents who were visiting me from the us. The price rivaled that of other hotels in Vincennes. The hotel was perfectly located near my apartment and the Metro Line 1 station. The biggest surprise was the quality of the beds - incredible. My parents slept better than they sleep in the States. No street noise, lovely bathroom, and the staff was more than helpful and welcoming (a special thank you to the Polish woman on the night shift. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make my parents' stay pleasant). This isn't a negative point - but it's important to note. A few rooms on the ground floor are charming and very quiet (no street noise), but the toilet for each room requires going down a very steep winding staircase. Since my mother has knee trouble, I asked for the room to be changed (they got one on the 4th floor with sky-light - lovely). So, if you get up to go to the restroom during the night, you might not want these rooms.

A quirky place this - my room was off an open courtyard, and the bathroom was underground, down a spiral staircase. Never seen that before. The decor is charming, especially the lounge area, the location was good for me and overall it was a pleasant stay. Common problem - nowhere comfortable to sit in the room except on the bed.

Room very clean, nice decoration, two very kind young receptionists, nice location, very close to the rer station The third receptionist we met was very rude. Lift very, very small. Room had a weird smell. Thin walls, you can hear other people talking in their rooms.

The hotel is impecably clean and organised. All the staff make you feel home. The rooms are very cosy and tidy. Location is excellent. Supermarkets, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance - 5minutes away. I recommen Best Western Saint Louis to anyone.

The room was clean but overpriced for what we got. The bathroom had a shower above the bath but no shower curtain so the floor gor wet every time we showered. The staircase was uneven. Ours was a superior room - if the standard room was smaller, it would have been difficult to move around or the bed would have been uncomfortable for two people.

Close to ligne 1 of the metro, therefore centre of Paris immediately reachable. Unexpectedly clean and comfortable for a 3 stars hotel in Paris, normally they are overrated.

No frills but clean and friendly. Ideal for the tourist wishing to spent a few days exploring Paris. Three minutes walk from the metro into central Paris (20 minutes ride) - beware it is closed on Sundays! The breakfast was expensive (13€). Large fresh hot croissants and rolls were missing and the coffee was revolting - these are iconic ingredients that define a Parisian continental breakfast. The café on the corner next door was a a much better bet!

This was one of the most amazing 3* hotels I have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and vvery well appointed & ideally situated at the end of the m1 underground line in a very quiet pictuesque area on the outskirts of Paris, however it had lots of really reasonable restaurants and shops nearby for essentials. Nothing it was truly money well spent. I had read that Breakfast was poor I found it more than adequate and a good selection.

Good location just north of the beautiful Chateau de Vincennes, and very close to Metro, in a quiet neighbourhood. Convenient local shops (bakery/coffee places) and a convenience store. Parking space available in front of hotel (free from 5:30 pm till 9:00 am next day), as well as free 24 hour parking behind the Chateau de Vincennes about 400 meters south of the hotel.

Hotel staff were very helpful, they went above and beyond to assist us even though we had language barriers. The location is close to central Paris, around a 25 minute train journey. Facilities were really clean. The room can get quite warm so it might benefit from a fan or air conditioning. With that said once we opened up the windows the room cooled down. I would have liked to have a shower curtain to avoid us soaking the whole bathroom. These are very minor issues.

Although it is in Zone 2, it is well connected to the subway line 1. Most of the sightseeings are along with the line. The bathroom is really big, almost similar size to the sleeping room. The Wifi signal is not that good.

The hotel is within walking distance to the last stop on metro line 1 and the RER stop Vincennes (about 5 minutes maximum), as well as to a shopping street where there is a Monoprix among other stores and restaurants. The hotel is basic but clean and comfortable (free WIFI is a plus). It is also across the street from the Chateau. I chose this place because my meetings were nearby. I wouldn't necessarily choose this hotel to visit Paris--- it is definitely possible to find hotels more in the center within this price range. There is no fitness/gym.

This was an usually comfortable and friendly place for Paris. Plus it is in a very nice neighborhood. The staff was exceptional. Ideal for being in Paris without being overwhelmed by Paris. The room a delight, classy. The bathroom warm and wonderful facilities - and yet romantic. A real catch

Good location, not too expensive, quite quiet. There were 2 or 3 staff members standing watching you have breakfast in the tiny breakfast room - it was pretty disconcerting.
