The 9Hotel Montparnasse is in the 14th district of Paris, where guests can find brasseries and theaters and the hotel is a 15-minute walk from Montparnasse Train Station.
Score from 476 reviews Very good
The Hotel Daumesnil is in the royal city of Vincennes, a town next to Paris. Here you can find the famous Chateau de Vincennes, the horse racetrack, the Parc Floral and the Bois de Vincennes.
Score from 270 reviews Very good
The Adagio is a 10 minute walk from the Bois de Vincennes. It offers fully equipped accommodations and is a 20-minute metro ride from the center of Paris.
Score from 285 reviews Excellent
Located across from the Château de Vincennes, this hotel with a medieval décor offers free Wi-Fi access and satellite TV in the guest rooms. The Bois de Vincennes Park is just half a mile away.
Score from 266 reviews Very good
The hotel is close to Parc Floral where there were classical open air concerts at the weekends throughout the summer- a lovely opportunity to relax and to get away from the hustle and bustle in Paris. Vincennes itself is a lovely village with very good access to the city centre.
Cleanness. Location is close to a metro station (20 min to the city center). There are some restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast is good (but not the one you expect from a 4-star hotel).
One of the staff was not friendly. Room was too small (but I suppose this is the common problem in Paris). They didn't accept my 500 euro banknote I had to pay by credit card then. I would not call this hotel a 4-star hotel rather a good 3-star hotel. Before our arrival, we asked twice for a crib in our room but they forgot to put it. We had to ask again and then they provide us with a crib.
This is the first Best Western at which we have stayed and these hotels will now be in our mix of favourite accommodation. The staff was fantastic and assisted us with the French language skills although they spoke very good English. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and refreshed each of the four days of our stay. Continental+ breakfast was available at a reasonable cost (no cooking) and the room was equipped with a jug and tea/coffee etc. The location to the RER and Metro is ideal making the trip into Paris central easy and reasonably straight forward once you get used to the rhythm of Paris. There are restaurants of all kinds within a five minute walk and the historic chateau is just across the street (don't miss this). We will use this hotel again - highly recommended.
Nothing to complain about.
The hotel is newly decorated with new beds, looks nice and comfortable sleeping
Virtually all systems are on the verge of breaking down: elevator is old, breaking down frequently; plumbing us poor (showering turns the bathroom into a pool); outdoor lights shine straight into windows; breakfast is depressing, certainly at the price it's at.
Staff was great! Nice tiny room with airo and wifi. Very clean bathroom.
the room was quite hot, when we entered. But the windows open, temperture dropt until we liked it!
Very small lift that would not take push chair, however staff were very friendly and helpful No car park , but can pay for it at the nearby streets
The location near RER and the castle. Really charming reception staff. Big bathroom.
Staff who stared at us in the breakfast room as we were the only people there. Inadequate soundproofing as we could hear both the people in the bathroom next door plus noisy children in the room above us( banging on their floor late in the evening...) Staff who didn't knock on the door before coming in to vacuum the floor, a bit of a surprise when it happened.
It's a nice location with very good rooms and nice staff
Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Exemplary cleanliness.
Wifi did not work
Hospitality. Shower room design in superior rooms.Location next to nature, historic castle and modern amenities. Comfortable beds.Quietude.
All good. Rooms could always be bigger but offset by all other high points.
Very well coming and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Well situated opposite castle, close to métro and shopping. Delighted with my stay.
I really like the location and hotel. The staff was very friendly.
The price of the breakfast was a little bit expensive.
The room is nice, and bathroom was new. A bit little, but for me absolutely ok and typical for old european city. Anyway I appreciated the bath was completely new. Moquete was good for warm. Last floor, window on the top. Near to the underground 1 (Vincenne - Terminal Line) and to the Vincenne Rail Way station (10-15 minute to the center of Paris, the fasted and preferred way to move in) Near the beautiful castle of Vincenne, really interesting to visit, with no rows of people to see it. Incredible! Zone calm and tranquil, full of little shops, backery, grocery and what else you need.
I could use wifi only the first day. The room was at 4th floor and we couldn't get IP and go inside the wifi network of the hotel. I claimed everyday with the staff in the morning, promising me they would repeir it, but nothing was done. I couldn't use Wifi and internet in my room for all the rest of the holiday. And nowdays is quite frustating (only to see some information of weather, turistical site and write to some friends). Internet worked at the reception floor. Battery of the TV remote control was empty. But they changed me at the desk the next day. Staff not well prepared for turistical information. Hotel good, but more near to a ***. But maybe the standard in Paris are very low.
close to Paris and Vincennes wood. metro 1mn from hotel Line 1 very practical if you want to visit Paris quiet also....
very quiet, very confortable beds ( No1 criteria, but difficult to achieve in a hotel in Paris) large bathroom friendly staff location: 10min from gare de Lyon
in room coffee facilities not resplenished. decoration a little stern
Staff and location.
Internet very weak, Breakfast very limited optionts as well as amounts. Also, size of rooms very small for value of money.
The staff are very nice and helpfull.
Clean and simple
Asking for an Iron and then needing to ask for the board to go with it - then been told off for not asking for both together!
I was very impressed with this hotel. The pictures on the website do not do it justice as the hotel has some recently refurbished rooms which are very modern and luxurious so this hotel was excellent value for money. A little outside of Paris but on line one which is great for a lot of the attractions such as the luvre as you do not need to change lines. Metro is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby and the castle and beautiful parks. The staff were very friendly. I would definately stay here again on my next trip. The hotel also kindly granted me a late check out of 2.30pm which was much appreciated.
The cleaner walked into our room on two occasions without even knocking. On one of the occasions we had the do not disturb sign on the door. On both occasions we were in bed which was no ideal.
Even though the hotel is not in Paris, its located 2 walking minutes from a metro station. 10-15 minutes with the metro and you are in the center of Paris. The hotel is very clean and convenient and the staff is very friendly.
Had to pay for my stay when I checked in, which is not very common, which eventually caused a short discussion with one of the staff members whether I have actually paid or not. But, all was sorted within a few minutes and all done with a smile so not a big deal. Advice to staff: make sure your info is 100% correct before making any claims to your customer. Advice to guests: if you have to pay upfront, don't throw away the receipt.
Clean and comfortable hotel, located in a nice and well served (though not central) Paris area. The hotel room wasn't huge (but quite large, compared to other rooms in Paris), but was definitely clean and cozy. The hotel is only a couple of minutes on foot from the metro station, and the city center can be comfortably reached in approx 15 mins.
Stuff were very cooperative
Rooms are small Break fast was not unclouded
staff were very sweet. Room prices very good value
rooms a bit small, breakfast of 13Euro per person a bit overpriced
We were warmly welcomed (though the hour was late) by the friendliest lady-receptionist ever, (originated from Poland). We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for all her efforts to make our one-night stay excellent. Thank you, madam! The hotel is located at the end of line 1 metro, it takes 20 minutes to get to Chatelet, the heart of Paris, there is a supermarket not far away. The room was perfect for us, we are generally fussy but the management paid attention to details in the room + bathroom and we like that.
There were under redecoration-refurbishing tasks along the corridors and inner garden, the lift did not function and I had to carrry a heavy luggage down three floors.
Beautiful bathrooms and very comfortable beds and decorated well
Breakfast was really bad. The fruit salad was gone off and the fruit bowl had new fruit put on top of mouldy fruit. I made the mistake of eating a boiled egg and spent the day in bed being sick, this was my birthday weekend and it was ruined.
