The staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful, even carrying our luggage up to our room for us. The hotel was an old and interesting building in a very central location, right in the old city of Lyon. There was free WiFi throughout the hotel. The room was spotless and linen changed daily. Our room was very dark. However, I had requested a lower floor room and the person who showed us the room apologised for this, and I am sure that we could have had a lighter room if I hadn't asked for one on a lower floor. The staff smoked in the courtyard, and the smoke came into our room since we had to have the window open. |

The staff was friendly, professional and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The location is ideal for touring Vieux Lyon as it is really close to shopping and restaurants. Our room was extremely clean with a very modern bathroom and surprisingly a fine size for a French hotel. The breakfast was well-priced and ample. No, we would stay there again. |

It was nice to find the hotel in the centre of the old town , with excellent transport links with the tram nearby. Lovely place to stay. |

The staff were very nice and very helpful with suggestions and directions. The location is wonderful. I was able to walk with the baby in the stroller to many of the main squares that were so beautiful. It was great to be in the old part of town. The cobblestone streets gave the baby more good vibrations than the Beach Boys ever did, but he made it through fine. I have long legs and the toilet seat is a little close to the sink, but it's not a big problem. I mean, how much time do you really spend on the toilet seat? |

A wonderful location in old Lyon. Nothing luxurious about this! A quaint courtyard but a heft climb with your suitcase. |

Very friendly and helpful staff; the hotel has much 'old charm' and is situated in the historical centre of Lyon, a minute's walk from an excellent bar called the 'Smoking Dog Pub' |

Very nice doormen! Super fine location on the heart of the old city. Very clean! Quietly. Very small room, no safe, uncomfortable wardrobe. We can not open jalousie, because of people going upstairs and seeing us and our room. |

Conveniently located to the attractions in Old Town Lyon. It was nice to experience a 13th century building first hand. Poor illumination in the guest room. I cannot imagine staying in the room in summer time; there is no air conditioning. |

The hotel manager was/is just the best! He had good restaurant recommendations, was very attentive and helpful, and, for English speakers, he is completely bilingual. The location is ideal: close to parking, public transport, and, of course, the old town. And it is very quaint: ideal for a cheap romantic getaway. The hotel rooms are a little sparsely done, but, for the price, still very acceptable. Definitely a budget hotel. |

Central to Old Lyon. The staff was very helpful and efficient. The room was as requested. Room housekeeping was very good. The physical structure of the room (floor) needs work. The bulk liquid soap dispenser in the shower was not very convinient; for me, anyway. |

Normally we stay at College Hotel but it was booked so we chose this one because of the location. The staff were excellent, very friendly and the location was excellent in old Lyon The walk up to the 3rd or 4th floor could be difficult on arrival and departure if you have heavy luggage, also I noticed that the lower floors seemed to have slightly more renovated rooms, our room was very clean and basic. Bring your own toiletries such as shampoo and soap, dispenser all purpose hand/body soap is in the shower area if needed. |

The hotel staff were very helpful, the location of the hotel is brilliant. Rooms are really small and basic, there was no even small table in a room, just the chair and bed. Housekeeping changed places of all my things while cleaning, I couldn't find anything after returning back to the room in the evening. |

Location was ideal for our two nights /one and a half days as we could walk to transport, sights, and across the river. If we were staying longer I would have liked a comfortable chair, but overall it was very good value for money. |

The hotel Saint-Paul is an excellent hotel for the price. Also very well located in the old part of the city. As in a lot of te house of the St-Jean quarter, there is a small open courtyard in the middle of the building; people were often smoking in this courtyard, making impossible to have the window open without being in the cigarette smoke. |

The hotel is located in the center of Lyon. The hotel does not have an own parking lot. So, the parking is little bit far and might cost a lot. There is no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast for EUR 6 is very basic. There is neither cheese, nor yogurt, nor salami. |
