Oh My God! the hotel was amazing, the room was fantastic with an amazing church right outside, set in the very heart of the historic town. Treat yourself and stay in a lush hotel with beautiful surrounds in a very romantic room. I would highly recommend it. |

The staff was very helpful--I had a flat tire on rental car, and the owner called his garage, explained the situation and then gave detailed instructions on how to get there, what to say, etc. He also helped with my car parking, carrying my heavy suitcase, etc. He was great! The room was wonderful--very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very modern, large, and full of amenities--great shower! Could not have been a better experience! |

Friendly welcome, even when we were not supposed to be there (early and just enquiring).Comfortable bed and big enough room, with lots of character. Staff very hard-working, approachable, and polite. Good breakfast in very pleasant, well-designed new-built extension. In the heart of old Saumur, so very close to other buildings but none an eyesore. No. We missed being able to make coffee when we felt like it, but there was always room service - better coffee, and more french! |

The hotel is tastefully furnished and decorated. It has an excellent location and has parking. The service was very casual. We had to ask for second cups of coffee and breakfast was hit and miss- one day there was a selection of fruit and on another just a kiwi each! We also had to share a fork with crepes and there was no one about to ask for another. The hotel lacked a feeling of warmth and a personal touch. |

The hotel was very central and very calm, the personal is very friendly and downstairs they have a very nice lounge. It was pretty dusty and the hotel room had not much to do with the pictures shown on the website. The room was dark and small and the beds (or sort of sofa's) where too soft and not of a very good quality. |

The hotel building and location were fantastic - a real sense of history and right in the centre of town so convenient for all sights. We were advised that we could park in the nearby public car park without charge but got a parking ticket. |

The hotel was well placed in the centre of town and the room was comfortable and quiet. The room was on the small side and the decor and the bathroom were a little tired. It did not really represent great value for money. |

It is a very clean,comfortable hotel,staff are very friendly and attentive and the excellent breakfasts are healthy and varied.It is situated in the centre of town but in a quiet location and we slept well on all 4 nights of our stay. The small car park sometimes involves manoeuvring of vehicles to allow others out but I would not let this put me off staying there .Overall,our stay there was very enjoyable and we would go back again without hesitation. |
